Most girls would have been freaked out by this message, ran inside and called their boyfriends, I had a different approach. I did run inside but instead of calling Adam I grabbed my camera and took a few pictures of the scene. This is just what I needed to get back on track. I can call the academy and have them send me some resources and snap back in to action. This is the perfect distraction.

"What do you mean this isn't a good enough reason?!?!? I'm not making excuses!" I can't believe they thought I was making excuses, when did I ever make excuses? "This is serious! Please! There are lives in danger! Well no...it's not exactly been proven but with the right equipment I could prove it! Please! Wait! No! Don't hang up!"

They hung up! The academy just hung up on one of their best spies! Who does that? I was trying to be normal, it wasn't my fault someone just happened to send me a message in blood.

If the academy thought I was overreacting then I'd just have to prove that I wasn't.

When I got to school I saw a large crowd surrounding the main entrance to the school. I walked over to see what was going on.

"Maybe if Adam hadn't spent so much time trying to be a girl he could have done some running."

"Blake is about as good of a quarterback as Michael Jordan is a dancer."

That threw both boys over the edge, Blake stepped forward and punched the basketball captain straight in the face.
Both captains fighting started a chain reaction between the football and basketball players, soon it was a full out fight.

I pushed my way to the centre of the circle, I hadn't spent all that time tutoring Blake just to get himself kicked off the team for fighting.

"Knock it off!" I yelled, seriously I was so done with boys and their big fat egos.

"Opal, babe I'll meet you at you locker in a bit." Adam said through gritted teeth.

"This is no place for a girl" Blake added, glaring at the other captain.

Luckily for me I wasn't just a girl "First of all I'm not here for you Adam and secondly I can fight just as well, if not better then any of you."

The basketball captain snorted "If Blake and Adam can't even control this little toy of theirs how can they defeat our rivals, SouthStreet high?"

Little toy, excuse me? I think not! If anything they were my toys!

I walked up to that tall freak, whispered "this is going to hurt" in his ear and kicked him where the sun doesn't shine.
For a minute no one moved, they all look stunned a little bit like when I poured that soup on Savannah. I was again hoping to see a video. I smiled at that thought and walked away.

Sidney and Jacob met me at my locker, and we all walked to our first class together.

"So Opal, rumour has it that you kicked Mr. Basketball."

"Is it true Opal?"

"I saw the whole thing she kicked him straight in the balls and he almost cried!"

"Opal how did you learn to do that?"

Before I could answer any questions from my fellow classmates, Savannah walked in and sat at her place. Just as she sat down the questions came flowing again.

"SHUT UP!" Jacob yelled.

"Opal?" Sidney said in a small voice. "How did you do it?"

Why was this such a big deal I only kicked him that doesn't take much skill. "I didn't think it was a big deal, I only kicked him in the balls." I said voicing my thoughts.
