Chapter 3: Pool Meeting

Amber, James, and Sofia arrived at Looney Park just in time and saw all their friends at the park including Jake, Santiago, and Santiago's girlfriend Bonnie Bones. The three siblings hopped off the carriage and gave Maddy a big hug. "So glad you're here guys! Wanna chat Sofia?" Maddy asked. "Sure!" Sofia said. As she and Maddy chatted with Maddy's group of friends, Jame and Amber headed to the skate park. "Wow! Look at all these cool flips and tricks! I wish I could ride a skateboard," James said. He saw Zeke and Zeke's dad, Bart, as they were practicing skateboard techniques and joined them. Amber just stood there, clueless with nothing to do until someone caught her eye. She saw what looked like a creature she thought was a human look like her age. He had dark pinkish hair, 3 eyes, and a pinkish shirt with a star on it. He also had white demon horns. Amber saw him having ice cream and wanted to talk to him but thought it would be too dangerous for her to do so but he seemed like a nice guy and quite cute as well. No! Alberto is your boyfriend! Don't start to have a crush on another one! Amber thought to herself. Just then, she opened her eyes and realized the creature was gone. She looked around. While looking around she lost her step and got caught by someone. "Whoa there!" said a voice as Amber looked up and noticed it's the same creature he saw before. They both got lost in each others eyes. "You better watch where you're going," said the creature as he helped Amber up. "Um yeah, sorry about that," Amber blushed. "No worries," the creature said. "I've never seen you around this park before," he said. "Oh me? Well my siblings and I never get out much, so this is kind of a first," Amber said as the creature smiled. "I never introduced myself. I'm Tom by the way. Tom Lucitor," he said as Amber shook his hand. "Princess Amber," Amber curtsied and after shook Tom's hand. "Funny I had an ex who was a princess," he told Amber as Amber nodded. The sun glistened in their eyes. "Hey wanna get some ice cream?" Tom asked Amber. "Oh that would be nice, but I'm waiting for a friend, I hope,"Amber said. "Totally fine. If you wanna join me, I will be at the Bugs Bunny Pool," Tom said winking at Amber. "Ok thanks," Amber said as Tom waved at her and Amber waved bye back.

"Well here we are! We have arrived at Acme Acres!" Guilia said as she and Alberto got out of the car along with Luca. "Awww what a cute little ToonBnB were staying in!" Giulia squealed. The ToonBnB was like a little hobbit house but a bit bigger. "Hey there's Looney Park! Last one there's a rotten egg!" Luca said as Giulia followed. Ms. Rabbit and Rebecca Rabbit came out and introduced themselves. Massimo did the same and so did Alberto. Ms Rabbit and Mr Rabbit helped Massimo unpack. "Alberto, why don't you go with your friends? You might know some. Don't forget you have lifeguard duty at Bugs Bunny Pool," Massimo said. "Got it!" Alberto said as he started walking off. "And stay out of trouble!" Massimo called out after him. Alberto signaled an ok sign and continued walking to Bugs Bunny Pool.

Amber had gotten bored so she decided to go to the pool. Who knows? Alberto might be there. She got changed into her bathing suit and sat down on a chair. Alberto got to the pool and breathed in the fresh air. He liked seeing everyone have fun in the pool. He got up on the lifeguard tower and looked over the pool. Amber decided to take a dip in the pool. She swam for a while but didn't recognize Alberto sitting in the lifeguard chair. Just then, she saw Tom walk up to the lifeguard tower and sat there. He saw Amber and waved at her as Amber waved back. Alberto saw someone familiar. He peeked through his sunglasses and noticed Amber doing aquatic dancing and twirling. "Amber!" Alberto called out and fell right into the deep end of the pool. Amber heard her name. "Alberto? Is that you?" Amber said. Alberto then swam under Amber and took her on a little ride through the pool. Alberto popped out from the water in his sea monster form. "Alberto!" Amber squealed as Amber gave him a huge hug. "I didn't know you were staying in Acme Acres," Amber told him. "Only to see the best girlfriend around! It's funny that you're here," he winked. Amber splashed him and Alberto and Amber played a game of water tag. He picked her up and gave her a bear hug until a whistle blew. "Hey rookie you're supposed to be looking after the guests not be playing with your...oh," said the voice. Amber and Alberto turned around and noticed Tom staring at them. Alberto got angry. "You!" Alberto said. Tom smirked, "Hello, fish face." Amber paused. "You know each other?" Amber asked. "Fought off in a battle of the bands at Tooniversity, didn't go well." Alberto gritted his teeth. "Pfft, I didn't know you had a girlfriend," Tom scoffed. "Hey!" Amber said upset. "Watch it Tom!" Alberto said. "Hey you two! Get back to work!" said the manager. "My apologies," Tom said and walked away. "God what a jerk. Come on Ambs, let's get some ice cream," Alberto said.
