FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE ABDUCTION

Within a hour of report, all the news channels were bombarding questions on Hirwani's as the man I mentioned earlier whom conversation I eavesdroped was arrested.

He accepted the accusations of kidnapping and murder attempt, finally giving away his bose's name. Who happens to be Mr Raghav Hirwani.

While sitting on my office chair sipping my hot cocoa chocolate I was enjoying my 'me' time when my phone ring.

I picked it up but before I could utter anything a dark voice which I could never forget spoke "You are going to regret every moment of your life Ms Upadey, and I'm going to make sure you do.".

"Well are you done with your empty threats, Mr Hirwani." I replied in a sassy tone. I wasn't going to ask him how he managed to call me, I know he has network and connections but the point is why he took the risk of getting caught by specialty calling me.

He knows with a quick snap of my fingers I could again press charges on him plus I have recording systems in my office phone.

"Why" I know perfectly what he wants to hear, but because he disturbed my 'me' time I thought teasing could bring his anger out which he was desperately trying to control.

"What 'why' Mr Hirwani, what are you talking about, is their anything I did wrong?!" I asked in a playful tone.

I could actually imagine his clenched jaw, closed eyes and a face as red as tomato as he replied "Don't test my patience Disha answer my damm question!" His voice raised slightly in the end.

"Why don't we discuss this in person, I would love to see your tomato red face" I said while laughing.

Before he could answer me I chipped in "And oh Raghav say hii to Alma, she might be enjoying cool clothes of prison isn't she?".

Cutting the line end I sighed. Why I have to deal with these morons. Doesn't he know what he did or he is playing games with me. If he is playing, then he should know that I'm the rule maker here.

I carefully slipped my private phone in my pocket and dashed towards the joint bathroom I had in my office as I can't risk checking my phone in the room ofcourse there are CCTV cameras everywhere.

When I opened my phone while sitting on the closed lid of the commode there was a message I was waiting for 'Everything is in your favor right now but that doesn't mean you are safe. Be aware the one you trust most could betray you like no one else'.

I shivered reading the text message the work I gave him has been done. Everything I planned is going smoothly.

I went back outside and sat on my chair this plaster was irritating me I'm so done with this. I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I got startled when my phone started buzzing continuously with messages.

Picking up my phone, I checked the id as it was flashing Aru with a red heart I chucked to myself going through the pictures of him that, he has send to me.

He was making funny faces in few and in other showing me fried nudges he had in lunch but one specific picture caught my eyes in which he was standing beside kitchen counter taking a selfie showing his thumb with perfect toothy grin on his face but the thing that disturbed me was in the background, a slight figure could be seen. My body stifled when I zoomed in and saw a man dressed fully in black holding a knife.

I almost dropped my phone but quickly composed myself thinking of Arush alone their.

After ringing him for three to four times when he doesn't pic up my calls I got worried and called police and made my way towards exit but bumped into a hard chest when my blurry eyes meet sushant's worried one. I couldn't help but notice a bit of happiness in them like he almost knew what I was going to tell him.

So I decided to play along and cried fee fake tears. Sushant was shocked from my outburst was an understatement. After a good round of stuttering and  hiccups I told him about the picture as well as the situation.

He just noded and started following me towards exit but not before saying "karma is a bitch". I wasn't in my right mind to comment but I did notice what he said.

Police officers were every where in Arush's house. Yellow tapes could be seen outside they were not allowing me to go inside all the while I was screaming my lungs out sitting on mud not worrying about anything but Arush as I sit infront of the parking lot where onces Arush's Scorpio would be in.

****Flashback****

Third person pov

Disha and Arush was going out for dinner in Arush's Scorpio all the while Disha was upset from Arush.

Last night Disha found a appointment letter from Arush's coat apparently he had got a job in abroad which is a very good opportunity for his carrier but when she confined about the letter to Arush he simplify said that he had declined the offer.

Disha was angry and told Arush "You are going to lose a very opportunistic job which could easily boost your carrier"

Arush just hummed and said "But you would not be their with me. I love you more than this job."

Disha felt heat rushed her cheeks but she composed herself and said "What are you a teenager that couldn't live without his girlfriend for a little?!"

"Maybe" was the only reply Arush gave before placing a quick kiss on her forehead and dashed towards washroom.

Disha came back to reality where Arush was squeezing her hand. Disha was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't realised that Arush was holding her hand which was rested on her lap.

Arush was thinking what he could possibly do to make Disha happy when suddenly a memory striked him of Disha singing, while smiling to himself he said "Wanna  hear  some  music babe"

Glancing towards Arush she noticed that he was smiling whole-heartedly. She couldn't stop the smile that break on her face when Arush said that.

****End of flashback ****

My heart leaped into my stomach when a officer made his way towards me, I quickly rubbed my eyes clean with the sleeves of my dress and stood up composing myself onces again but little did I know I have smudged my makeup causing a total mess.

I stuttered while saying "wh-what happen-ned officers, is he alright!" I almost cried in last.

Officer shook his head and said "Relax Ms Upadey, we didn't found anybody inside the house but we did found lot of blood on kitchen counter and floor".

I was not able to say anything my head was buzzing and I feel dizzy but officer's next line pull me out of my trance and now everything was crystal clear.

He said "We have found few footprints, broken phone and a note for you Miss Upadey."

I quickly grab the note from his hand and my face paled seeing what's inside. I quickly crumbled the piece of paper.

Now my body was shooking in anger I vaguely remembered passing note back to officer and dashing towards my car. I could recall sushant's voice as he tried to follow me but I was quick to beat.

Only one thing was in my mind, that who so ever did this is not going to see the next sunshine.
