“We are hungry now so we have decided to come and bug you two until you agree to leave with us to eat.” Arden smiled, “Oh and by the way…Sembri oggi abbagliante mia dolce.”
Um what? He spoke way to fast for me even to catch what he said. But oh man does he sound gorgeous when he speaks Italian! “I’m sorry but what?”
“He said you look dazzling today my sweet. At least I think that’s what he was going for.” Xavier waltz up behind Arden, leaning against the door frame with a smirk.
Delaney got off the bed and walked over to us in the doorway, “How cute.”
“I try.” Arden chuckled.
I laughed at him, “Well thank you for trying.”
He shrugged and flashed me a smile.
“So where are we going to eat?” Del butted in whilst rubbing her stomach.
Xavier pushed off of the door frame, “I thought we could walk around the city and find some place. It’s getting dark and the supervisor told us Verona is awesome at night.”
“Alright well let us change and freshen up and we will come to your room when we are ready,” Del gave them a Cheshire grin as she pushed them out the door and slammed it closed.

After leaving the hotel we didn’t have to walk far to find a place to eat. In an alley way next to the hotel was a restaurant called La Greppia. We chose it because you could sit outdoors and eat! It was a beautiful restaurant. The inside had some magnificent crystal chandeliers and the way the tables were set was modern yet elegant.
We chose a spot outside. Our table was adorned with brightly colored lilies and fancy crystal wine goblets and crystal glasses. Not even minutes after sitting down a waiter had appeared. Now that’s what I call good service!!!
“Ciao, my name is Luca. What can I get you to drink?” The young waiter gave a welcoming smile as he pulled out a pen and paper.
“I’ll have water,” Del ordered.
“Same for me,” I replied.
“We will both have Cokes.” Arden answered for himself and Xavier.
“Two waters and two cokes coming right up.” Luca jotted down on his paper and turned on his heel walking off.
Minutes later he appeared with our drinks. After handing them to us he pulled out his pen and paper again, “Have you decided on your main course?”
Well if I could read some of the items on the menu I could have already decided. I really need to find an Italian translator book.
“What would you recommend?” Delaney gave him a flirtatious wink.
Nice one Del. Trying to pick up the waiter are we?
“Well I would recommend the Pasta 'e Fagioli, it’s one of the best items on the menu. But I would also like to recommend staying away from the Rack of Lamb. I’ve had some customer’s say that it is to dry and dull.” Luca leaned against the table.
