A/N: Ok so I am back. Things are going better but I am still a little devastated about our loss. This chapter is not edited and it's probably really random but hey at least its something! I hope you enjoy! Vote and comment!! For those of you that are still reading even after my long absence...thank you! I promise for you guys the next update won't take a month :) I would also like to know what you think about seeing Arden or Xavier's Pov at some point? Or Delaney's? It's pretty much all told in Skylar's pov but thought about throwing in the other's view at least once. What do you think?

Recap:

“I lied about something.” He whispered looking down at his hands.

Oh no. What could he have possibly lied to me about? Please tell me this whole growing relationship between us hasn’t been one big lie…

“Wha…What did you lie about?” I stammered as I tried to calm down my racing heart. Please be something stupid. Please, please, please….

He turned to face me taking both my small hands in his large ones and began rubbing his thumbs along the back of my hands. “Well…”

Still rubbing the back of my hands he leans in and his hot breath tickled my ear as he breathed. My stomach was twisting and turning, I was anxious to know if my whole world was about to crash down with his confession.

“I…” He paused and pulled back to look me in the eye. Biting his lip he continued, “I didn’t really make the sandwiches…Xavier did. I can’t make anything, can’t even boil water without burning it.” A sly grin appeared lighting up his eyes as he chuckled.

Are you kidding me? This is his confession? “Are you serious? That’s what you lied to me about?”

I didn’t know whether to laugh along with him or beat him with a stick. Who does he think he is getting me all worked up like that over a stupid sandwich? Really!

After his laughter calmed down he pulled me close and pressed his lips upon my forehead giving me a tender kiss that still managed to make my heart stop. “I apologize. I thought it would be funny but I guess you could take it the wrong way and think it was something really bad.”

Sighing I leaned over and gave him a quick peck before getting up and holding my hand out to him. “I suppose I can forgive you. Just don’t do it again boy or else I will find a stick and beat you with it. We better get going; Del and I are supposed to be going out soon.”

“You would really beat me with a stick?” He frowned as he took my hand in his to lift himself up.

“Yep.”

We made our way out of the waterfall and to shore where we put our clothes back on. Once we were fully dressed we made our way back down the road into town, hand in hand in a comfortable silence. Neither one of us had to say a word. It was enough just being in each other’s company and enjoying the beautiful sights and fresh salt water air.

Once we made it back to the hotel we parted ways with a sweet kiss and promises to see each other later. I am now currently sitting on my bed watching Delaney jump around like a clown on crack telling me all about her day with Xavier in between breaths.

“It was magical Sky. I have never been happier!” She huffed as she resumed her jumping on my bed scattering my clothes all over the room.

“I’ll bet it was. So he really took you on a carriage ride? That does sound fun.”
