Buzz! Buzz!

The sound of a phone vibrating slowly starts to pull me out of my sleep. My eyes open only for me to come face to face with Tom. He had stayed the night. When did we even fall asleep? I take in a deep breath, my head moving back a little to get a better look at him. He looked so peaceful sleeping. The only wrinkles present on his face were the crow's feet and even while sleeping, they weren't as prominent as they were when he was awake. Deep sighs left his sleeping frame, making me happy he wasn't a snorer. Imagine Tom a snorer. I don't think I could do it.

I lift my head and glance down at his arm draped across my side, our legs tangled with each other. I then move a little more to look around the living room. The TV was still on, the default screensaver showing photos of landscapes. The sun was beginning to peek through the blinds in the room. Light was gradually starting to make its way in. It was daylight, but what time? A hum comes from Tom's sleeping figure and I turn to look at him. "What's wrong?" He croaks out. My eyebrows lift slightly at the deepness of his voice. It was the deepest I've ever heard it. It caused butterflies in my lower abdomen.

To see his blue eyes first thing in the morning was refreshing, but it only lasted a second. His eyes were closed once more and his breathing slowed again. "You stayed the night," I say softly, rubbing gently at his arm. "You've got to get up," I inform him.

Tom remained still, but a sigh leaves his lips. "I don't want to get up." He tells me. He lays there a little longer before rolling over, pressing me into the couch in the process, and grabbing his phone from the table. The hand holding the phone comes up and rubs at his eyes before returning to the well-lit phone screen. "I'm going to be late." The sleepy brit remains leaning over me while he fiddled with his phone. His eyebrows switching between furrowed and calm. "I've got to go."

I wiggle my way from underneath him, a squeal leaving my lips as gravity dropped me to the floor. Tom laughs softly at me as he rolls onto his back. Haha, very funny, I thought as I move to sit up upon the floor. My eyes take in the long figure that was him laying along my couch. His legs dangled off the end, his head on the opposite side against the arm cushion. "I was surprisingly comfortable."

"I bet you were."

Tom turns his head to look at me, that perfect smile shining through. "I had a lot of fun yesterday."

I smile gently at him before averting my eyes to the single thread that was standing out from the couch cushion in front of me. I grab the thread, twiddling it between my thumb and index finger.

Last night was easily one of the most fun nights I've had since moving here. That says a lot considering that I'm in a place where you could never run out of things to do. Instead, I was inside the house with a celebrity watching Shakespeare and talking about ourselves. There was more to Tom than meets the eye and it was a privilege to even be trusted enough for him to tell me anything about himself like that. He's only known me a week.

"I agree." I settle for. The room falls silent. The only thing that could be heard was the soft hum of the AC kicking on.

"Can we do this again soon?" He asks.

"You ask too much of me, Tom Hiddleston."

The smile that was on his face vanished slowly as he registered what I had said. "Maybe because I want more of you." I believed him. His tone of voice was serious, yet soft. His eyes scanned my face, a slight smile lingered on his lips. I couldn't help but smile. What was this hold he had on me?

"Alright," I say, attempting to change the subject. "You're going to be even more late if you keep laying here," I tell him.

Tom lets out a half-laugh before sitting up. He swings his feet over the edge of the couch before standing to them. I follow suit, quickly standing to my feet as well. The bones in my feet pop from the newfound weight it was relieved of the night before. "Do you have your lines down?" He asks.
