Small Sam entertained himself with books and walked up to the counter holding 3 big books.
She stared at him even though she saw him every week. As he walked up to the counter Sam looked at her then politely then asked "Can i borrow these books."
You see it is peculiar for a child of his age to be into literature. Most are complaining. As for Sam never complained or played with other kids. He seemed entertained by his own company.
The cashier talked with Sam and when they were done. She watched as Sam walked out of the book store and then off he went home.
Young Sam opened the door to a hellhole. He was used to his parents arguing as usual they often fought over little things like who left the cap off the tooth brush. he walked down the hall to his room closed the door took off his shoes. Then plopped on his bed and read the books he had borrowed and drifted to sleep.
But little did he know what was in store for him the next day.
