With this discovery he sees an opportunity to fulfill his dream to visit historical places through out history. He heads home happy nearly crashing into his father from to much excitement. He locks himself in his room and opens the book again. He hears the familiar town chatter. To see himself in the alley he sees a shop nearby called Agatha's fortune. And heads in to see an old lady crisscrossing on a mat with a crystal ball.
The old lady who supposedly is Agatha greets him and gestures to sit. He does so and politely states "I don't have money." She says "I will do it free for you." She holds his hand and says "You are from another place another time." Sam says he was tempted to jerk away but he held his and listened to what she has to say. She cuts him off and says danger is coming be warned.
