The following day during the seventh year's defense against the dark arts lesson, Ginny was refusing to look at Harry. She was still obviously hurting after their conversation yesterday. Finally after what to Harry seemed like an eternity the lesson ended. As the students were getting there belongs together Harry called "Hermione, would you mind staying for a minute?" She nodded and walked up to the front of the room. Ron gave her a glance but she waved him on and he too departed. "So what's up Harry?"
"I was wondering if you could help me with something." He explained what happened with him and Ginny the night before. "Well first, no offense, you're an idiot. And second tell her how you really feel. Don't hide behind this, 'I don't know if we are there yet crap.'"
"Alright Hermione, but where do I start? Do I tell I'm interested too? Do I invite her on a date? Should I just move on? What should I do?" Hermione took a deep breath. "Harry you know Ginny loves you. Personally if I were you I were you I would show her how much you care. Get her something that shows how much she means to you. That's what I would do." Harry smiled and nodded. "I think I know what you mean." The rest of the week Harry debated what to get Ginny. Finally, Friday evening after Harry's final class got out, he walked off the grounds and disaperated, reappearing in London. He walked down the street past the Leaky Cauldron and into a jewelry store. Harry walked inside and looked around, finally settling on a piece he liked that had a solid silver chain and a gold locket in the shape of a heart. He paid and left the store. Once he left he took out his wand and tapped the inside of the locker twice muttering a few words under his breath. He smiled at his work and replaced the locket inside his pocket. With that he headed towards the nearest alley to make sure he was out sight and once again turned on the spot.
The next morning Ginny woke up late. She loved sleeping in on the weekends and was exhausted from the rigger of her classes. She rolled over to grab a glass of water from her nightstand when she noticed a box that certainly had not been there the night before. She took and unwrapped it curious to see what was inside. Inside was a small wooden box. She quickly and carefully opened it. "Wow," she breathed. It was magnificent. A golden locket on a silver chain. She uncliped the latch on the locket and inside were pictures of her and Harry laughing from her fifth year. Then it changed and it was her Harry at the burrow. She stared at it for a minute as the pictures rotated through. Then she ran over and tapped Hermione on the shoulder as she was still asleep. "What?" she said. "Oh, hi Ginny, what's up. She handed Hermione the locket who took it from her. "Wow," she said. "This is absolutely beautiful." "Open it Hermione, open it," Ginny said excitedly. Hermione opened the locket. Her mouth broke into a smile. She was also quite impressed as this had probably been a tricky piece of magic. "This is amazing Gin."
"I know I know. Do I have the most romantic boyfriend in the world or what?"
"I'd certainly give him an O, outstanding, on that one."
LI've got to go see him. I didn't realize what he'd been working on and pondering all week. I shouldn't have been so distant. God I love him," she finished dreamily. Hermione smiled, Harry had done exactly as she suggested. He had shown just how much she meant to him. And buying something expensive is always an unnecessary plus. "Go," she told Ginny who did not need to be told twice. She quickly through on a sweater and jeans and ran out of the dormitory. She decided to check the great hall first in case he was lingering after breakfast with some of the other Professors. However, when she arrived it was only professors Flitwick and Slughorn who were deep in conversation. She approached them, "excuse me professors, but do you where Professor Potter is? I have an, a, uh question about Friday's lesson."
"I believe he's in his office Ms. Weasley. He said he was going to take a nap. He's seemed pretty tired this whole week. You should probably check in later this afternoon," squeaked professor Flitwick. "Ok, thank you proffesor," and with that she hurried out of the hall. But instead of listening to Proffesor Flitwick she ran in the direction of Harry's office she pushed open his class door, and slowly opened his office door. Harry's bedroom in the castle was just to the side of his office. She walked quietly over to him. He was sleeping so peacefully curled up. As she reached the side of the bed she realized Harry muttering in his sleep. She'd been told that by Ron that he was well known for this but she'd never heard it for herself. The only word she could make out was hers. He was dreaming about her. She smiled . And very quietly and carefully she lifted up the bed sheet and comforter and climbed underneath. She snuggled up against leaning her body into his. She sat there for a moment enjoying his warmth but only for a second as Harry sat bolt right up in bed and releasing himself from her grasp said without looking, "I'm sorry I have a girlfriend and what the hell are you doing... oh uh hi Ginny." Ginny sat there for a moment and then began to laugh, "at least I know you aren't going to cheat," she said smiling. Harry returned his smile, his face flushed with embarrassment. He leaned over her and kissed her full on the mouth. "I missed you this past week Ms. Weasley."
"I-missed-you-too," she said in between kisses. Finally after a few minutes Harry finally took a another step and rolled Ginny onto her back. "He raised his wand and cast a charm around the room to ensure they would not be overheard. He set his wand down returning his attention to Ginny who was staring intently into his eyes after his minor spurt of aggression. She gave him a little nod and he was on her again. This time he was laying on top of her. He began kissing her neck, hitting her sweet spot, she threw her head back, reeling in pleasure. Harry's brain was a wrrrr of thoughts each one zooming around in his brain. He had never seen Ginny like this before and he loved it. He wanted to show her he could take it up a notch no matter how big the notch was. They continued making out until Harry finally rolled off Ginny ten minutes later. Ginny was the first to speak as they both caught their breath. "Wow, where did you learn how to do that?" Harry shrugged, "I'm not sure it just felt right." With that Ginny leaned over and put her head on Harry's chest and together, they fell asleep.
