The rest of September seemed to fly by around the castle.  The days became shorter and the weather colder.  The start of October brought about excitement for Halloween as well as the upcoming quidditch season.  However, for Harry and Ginny it also brought the release of their first interview as a celebrity couple closer.  Finally on the fourteenth of October, just three weeks after their interview, an owl dropped off an early copy of the paper to Harry and Ginny who were eating breakfast together and discussing the roster for the upcoming years quidditch team.  They had decided on keeping him on as seeker and Ron as keeper.  They had also decided on keeping Demezla on as the second chaser.  They would still however need new beaters and a new chaser as Dean had been suspended.  However, as soon as the owl dropped the envelope in front of them their conversation came to a halt.  They tore open the envelope and began to read,
The Chosen One Has Chosen
The boy who lived is now making headlines because of his relationship with girlfriend Ginny Weasley.  The dynamic the duo share is one shared by none other through the connection both shared with he who must no be named.  Also, both are currently attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  However, Harry is a teacher and Ginny a student.  Furthermore the couple truly seems to be making proper strides forward in wake of the wizarding war.  (Article continued on page 2)

"Well that doesn't seem to be too bad," Ginny said looking up.  "Although I do hope they elaborate on the teacher student thing on page two," she looked over at Harry who nodded and flipped over to the second page and continued reading.

The connection the two share with he who must not be named was causeed during Ms Weasley's first year at school.  According to sources as well as an interview conducted with couple, Ginny became under control by a powerful object.  What type or what exactly the object was we were unable to find out.  But it is clear that whatever it was helped lead to the opening of the Chamber of Secrets and to the saving of Ms. Weasley in the chamber by Mr. Potter.  All other sources including close family and friends all declined for comment.   But what we do know is that couple at times both experienced a relationship that most likely no one else has ever with he who must not be named.  It would have most definitely brought them closer together through mural support and understanding.

Harry glanced up "well they did get that right, I mean I can't say I'm shocked that they figured some of the information out on their own.  He sighed.  "But they definitely aren't wrong we've both gone through 'relationships' with the darkest wizard known to man and come out better.  Honestly I think it's makes us stronger," he looked over at Ginny who nodded in agreement.  "Let's finish this up!"
After finishing the article, which went on for five pages digging into every part of the relationship which Harry commented he should have expected, the couple finished their breakfast and headed for the grounds.  Over the past few weeks Ginny had attempted to get Harry to tell her what his surprise was numberous times, all ended in failure.  She was extremely curious and the fact that he had mentioned at the interview meant it would soon be community gossip as it was also mentioned in the article.  Whenever she has mentioned it Harry got a gleam in his and would say you'll see and kiss the top of her head.  As the couple walked out towards the lake sun was rising painting the water and sky shades of orange and red.  The class had just finished their first test on interpreting wand movements and the use of shield charms.  The class as a whole had exceeded Harry's expectations.  Finally they reached a tree that sat next to the lake, their usual spot.  They sat beneath enjoying each other company.  "Harry, I've been thinking..." "still not going to tell you Gin," he said answering her before she even asked.  "How did you know what I was going to ask?"  "Cause I know you.  I'm sorry but I really want to surprise you.  Trust me it'll be special."  "Fine I promise not to ask anymore," she said pouting a bit.  "What do you think about quidditch tryout next weekend?  I can put out fliers for it tomorrow.  I've got a list of at least fifteen interested in the final chaser spot alone and another 10 interested in the two beater positions."
"Sounds good to me.  Do you want me to come to tryouts with you?"
"Yeah, I'd really like the entire team to be there.  Try to get as familiar as possible with everyone's play styles."  Harry nodded, "sounds good to me.  But for now I'm curious how class is going to play out on Monday morning with the interview and article dropping tomorrow."
"I get that, but that's a problem for another day."  "That," Harry said, "is something I agree with."
Chapter 20 tryouts
The next week did not pass without incident.  Harry put five students in detention after they found the idea to set a snake loose in his office to see if he could talk to it or not.  All five received detention and twenty five points from their respective houses.  Harry also met with Hagrid, something he had yet to do since the start of the semester.  Hagrid explained that he had decided not to pursue Madam Maxine as they were just too different people.  Harry also explained his plans with Ginny hoping for advice.  Hagrid had always been about as close to a father as Harry had ever had so he trusted him completely.  Hagrid supported his decision, after seeing the toll the war had taken on Harry, he was thrilled to have Harry back.  They also discussed Gryffindors upcoming hopes for the cup with tryouts drawing near.  Ginny, on the other hand, spent most of her time studying.  The teachers had begun to put out so much homework she found herself longing for the week.  The seventh years could be seen already working well into the night even though they were nowhere near exams.  The most unexpected part of the week was the school's reaction to the couple's article.  The entire school put the couple on a pedestal.  Everyone seemed to want to be like them.  They were, in the school's eyes, the ideal couple.  The celebrity couple.  Harry and Ginny both became relationship therapists overnight.  Everyone wanted advice.  Wanted to be 'perfect'.  Due to their streaking popularity, the list for students attempting tryouts for the last three spots on the Gryffindor team quadrupled.  The couple was desperately looking forward to the weekend where they might escape prying eyes.  Finally after one more advice session where they got cornered by one of Harry's fifth year students, the couple made their way to the grounds finally able to escape the castle.  With so much going on during the week and with Ginny finally caught up on her coursework, Harry decided to rent a room at the Leaky Cauldron so the couple could escape the grounds for a day before tryouts began.  Ginny was thrilled to be out in the public eye event if it was only for a night.  The couple ate dinner in private and spent all night laughing and joking and enjoying each other's company until finally they were so exhausted that they climbed into bed and both fell right to sleep.
The following day Harry and Ginny woke up to the sun peaking through their bedroom window.  Ginny's head was still resting on Harry's chest from the night before.  Ginny sighed contentedly, "you ready for tryouts today?"
"As ready as I'll ever be.  I'm doubting half the people trying out care whether or not they're on the team."  Ginny nodded in agreement.  "I hate to say we'd better head back to the school but I think we should.  Don't want to be late for tryouts especially with you being staff and me captain."  It was Harry's turn to sigh this time in annoyance.  "I wish we could just have a weekend without all this but yeah you're right.  We should probably get going."  The couple packed the few things they bought, left the room, and checked out.  Together they walked out into the sunlight and arm in arm disapperated back to Hogsmeade.
Quidditch tryouts weren't exactly going well.  Nearly half of the Gryffindor house showed up to try out including several first years who looked like they'd never ridden a broom in their life.  Finally after about an hour and a half Ginny and Demezla agreed on their third chaser.  Nigel Wolpert.  Nigel was a fifth year and former member of Dumbledore's Army, DA.  Nigel outflew the competition being nimble and quick.  But Ginny still had to find two beaters.  After two and half hours she had had her choices down to Jimmy Peakes who had been on the team when Harry was captain, Dennis Creevy who had managed to hit a bludger so hard it actually snapped one of the school's brooms, and Natalie McDonald who had shown off her flying skills.  Finally after another hour of watching the trio play she announced that she would post the final roster on the bulletin board in the common room the next morning so she could deliberate.  Harry had watched on quietly in the hope of giving Ginny some advice but truly he had no idea.  All three fifth years had done well at the tryouts.  Harry was most impressed with Peakes who drastically improved since he was on the team with Harry.  Immediately after Harry and Ginny left the pitch she turned and asked who he'd pick.  Harry shrugged.  He truly had no idea.  He went through everyone's strong points again and again but neither one could figure out who to pick.  Frustrated the two walked back to the castle still in deep discussion over tryouts.  Ron offered his opinion during dinner that night but it still wasn't much help.  Finally after dinner they picked their first beater.  Peakes.  He already has experience and since it was a deadlock it gave him a slight edge over the other two.  Finally around eleven Harry told Ginny the decision was hers.  They'd been going around in circles all day unable to choose.  Harry left the common room and headed down to his office exhausted.  He was relieved it wasn't his choice to make.  Finally Ginny around two in the morning wrote the team roster and went to bed hoping she made the right choice.
The Gryffindor team awoke early the next morning along with half of the house to see who was on the roster.
Ginny Weasley- chaser (captain)
Demelza Robins- chaser
Nigel Wolpert- chaser
Jimmy Peakes- beater
Dennis Creevy- beater
Harry Potter- seeker
Ron Weasley- keeper

Both Peakes and Creevy were grinning from ear to ear and being congratulated on making the team by the rest of the house.  Finally after a few minutes Ginny came down and called the room to silence.  She congratulated the team and announced their first practice Monday evening.  With that she grabbed Harry's hand and led the two out of the common room.
