Chapter 13: The Finale

(Yes, I planned for this to be the final chapter. Yes, I am aware of the number. I planned for that too! I'm a young adult woman who is crazy and has high amounts of anxiety, but you better believe I put a lot of effort into this piece! This is it! The finale to the first book! The sequel will have a lot more characters and adventures too! For now, we've made it! Enjoy! Huh... another hour long story? Whoops.... I sometimes get carried away... Haha)

                    Blake went home and found her dad working at his desk.

She asked bravely, "Dad, what happened to mom?"

Ghira stopped working and looked at his daughter. He was a strong man with big muscles. He had strong, black hair and beard. He had yellow eyes. He wore a strong, black shirt, and white pants.

He sat next to her and said, "She's a very strong woman. She wouldn't let anything happened to her family and friends. She could do anything she put her mind to. When she discovered the darkness was coming, she was still strong. She gave you to me and told me to take care of you. She did not come back and the darkness was gone. Your mother died for what was right"

Blake began to cry as she embraced her father. Ghira stroked his daughter's head as he asked her why she wanted to know about her mother now.

Blake looked at her father and answered, "This may happen to me"

Her father was speechless and held her. Yang, Weiss, Ruby, and Oscar were walking to Yang's house as Yang was on the phone with Neku.

"Great! We can't wait! I'll tell the school tomorrow!" she said excitedly.

Ruby asked curiously, "Is that the ballroom party?"

Yang nodded, and Ruby screamed in delight. Winter and Whitely saw the group of friends coming towards them. Whitely and Oscar were talking about video games and homework.

"Weiss, thank you so much for helping us buy dresses" Yang said happily.

Weiss just smiled as Winter answered, "No thanks needed. We are happy to help"

Qrow walked towards them as he placed his hands on Oscar's and Whitely's shoulders.

"I'll take the boys to the tuxedo area!" Qrow said in delight.

Oscar was nervous while Whitely was scared. Qrow took them away while Winter took Ruby, Weiss, and Yang to the dress area. Meanwhile, Neku was directing everyone around in the gym. Roxas, Lea, Pence, and Hayner were working on the DJ stand. Sora, Riku, Noctis, Prompto, and Terra carried the props and art works. Beat, Ven, Van, Rhyme, and Ephemer arrived with lunch for the group.

"Thanks! Hey, where are the girls?" Pence asked as Beat gave him a hamburger.

Rhyme answered as she gave Sora his chicken nuggets, "They went shopping for dresses. Shiki is going to take me once Strelitzia is awake"

Ven was worried about Strelitzia, but his parents reassured him.

"Well, that's going to be a while. I'll help with the tuxedoes" Noctis said with a smile.

The group was surprised as Sora said joyfully, "Thank you so much! But why do you want to do that?"

Noctis smiled as he answered, "It is my way of saying that you for helping us with the ballroom"

The guys were excited and began to finish the gym and their meals. Once they were done, Terra, Beat, Lea, and Riku drove the group to the mall. The girls finished their shopping while Shiki picked Rhyme up and went home. She gasped when she arrived home to find Strelitzia awake! Shiki embraced her little sister while Rhyme asked how Strelitzia was doing.
