Epilogue: A Bright Future

(And this is it! The part of the story until the sequel! Well, we do see Aqua again but not the rest of the Guardians and Maidens. I don't think I'll ever be able to thank Kingdom Hearts properly for everything. This series taught me how to write, love myself, accept who I am, move forward from the past, believe in myself, believe in my friends, and so much. Kingdom Hearts, thank you for everything. I hope whatever I write about you will be enough. Thank you all for reading ! Enjoy!)

                  Today is the day Terra and Aqua officially graduate from Destiny High! However, Terra recently went to Ira to ask an important question. Afterwards, Terra gathered Sora, Roxas, Ven, Van, Riku, Lea, and Zack. They were sitting outside and waiting for Terra. Van then pointed out the incoming Terra. He looked very nervous and excited. Ven and Riku helped Terra sit down on the bench as everyone gave him a few minutes to relax.

"What happened?" Roxas asked curiously as he stood to the right side of him.

Lea noticed a certain sparkle in Terra's eyes and laughed. Riku's eyes were wide while Sora and Ven were confused.

Terra turned his attention to Riku, placed his right hand on his shoulder, and said as calmly as he could, "I am going to ask for your sister's hand in marriage after graduation. I have already asked for your father's blessing"

Riku stood still for a moment while Sora and Ven screamed in joy. Van was surprised to hear this as Roxas offered his support to him. Zack rubbed Terra's shoulders as Lea laughed at Riku's shocked expression.

Riku then composed himself as he said, "I'm fine with this. Just please take care of her"

Terra was very surprised to hear this as Sora and Ven cheered even louder. Ven wanted to tell everyone about this, but Terra took his phone before he could tell Strelitzia about this.

"You cannot say anything about until I propose. I want to make sure she doesn't know anything about this" Terra explained to them in a begging tone.

Everyone understood and promised to not say a word about his plans. Just as Terra was about to give back Ven's phone, he looked at it and was sad to not see the hero app.

"Terra? Are you ok?" Ven asked as he approached him.

Lea took his phone out and noticed that the hero app was gone.

Ven slowly took his phone back and said, "We miss him too"

Terra nodded his head at him as Lea closed his phone.

"I'm going to head off. I have to visit someone" Lea said as he waved goodbye to them and left.

The rest of the group had to do something as well. Zack remained with Terra, Ven and Van went to the ice cream stand, Roxas and Riku headed for the park, and Sora went to the beach. Lea entered the hospital and went to a room. He smiled when he saw Isa talking to his father, Rai. He had tanner skin, brown hair, eyes, and wore an orange shirt and black pants. He was taller than his son. Lea quietly closed the door, took his phone out, and waited outside of the room. Once Rai exited the room, Lea turned his phone off and looked up at him.

"Thank you for watching out for him. You are a great friend to him" Rai said in relief.

"No worries. He and I will always be friends. I am glad I could help him" Lea answered as he stood up and shook his hand.

Rai then left the hospital as Lea entered Isa's room and took a seat next to his friend.

"So, we will be seniors next year, are you ready?" Lea asked with a laugh.
