the tattoo artist got the ink ready as i stared up at the ceiling, trying to get my mind straight. i cannot believe i'm doing this. like... this shits gonna be stuck on me til the end of time. i have a good meaning for it, but still..
"you ever gotten a tattoo before baby? you look young." she asked.
i laughed a little, she probably thinks i'm crazy, and she's right. i am. i definitely am.
"yeah, i have a couple but they're small." i told her. she nodded a little and started to actually tattoo me. welp, no backing out now.
"i usually wouldn't go for the face since you're a very pretty girl, but whatever you want sweetie." she assured. the only thing holding me together right now is the fact that this lady is really nice. like, i'm gonna miss my little sister so much it's crazy, but i really have no choice but to go. what else am i supposed to do?
"thank you but yeah, i'm a little manic but it's okay." i giggled.
"i mean, what's the point of the placement? you can get it literally anywhere else, you know?"
"eh, too late now." i shrugged.
"girl... you crazy. i'm telling you, you gonna regret it." she wiped the ink off my forehead a little before continuing.
"honestly, probably will. i'm tryna just be a new person. i literally have a flight to LA in 4 hours." i confessed. i'm deadass too, it's 2 in the morning, and i gotta flight at 6. michael's extra ass made it the earliest one... like nigga??? i told his ass i need time and he said 'i don't care'.
but on a real note, i'm excited to see him. really really excited... i hope he likes this tattoo once it's really on me. if he doesn't, i'm killing myself!
