AUTHOR'S POV
"She left me, hyung. She r-really..."
A 28 yrs old Jungkook blankly gulped the toxic liquid in his throat to numb his ache. When he tried to hold the bottle Jimin was fast to snatch it away.
"Enough! You had enough for tonight, let's go home."
"Enough? Home? What are you talking about? She was my home, my everything but she chose an arrange marriage for her dad's freaking business." Jungkook slammed his hand on table earning glares from others around them.
"Not everyone is like you who could sacrifice everything. People hurt you, intentionally or unintentionally. She had no choice, you were taking time to talk it out. You still didn't stood up openly." Jimin confessed the truth.
"I cannot abandon my parents. She should understand me but she married another man a week ago and today she texted me an apology."
Jungkook was holding back his tears. He had grown up into a successful man of a powerful empire but no one would believe he was crying like a kid in the corner of a club were everything else was moving in fast forward with blasting beats, contrary to his slow heartbeat. Darkness hovered over this corner of the club where barely anyone was in their whole conscience. Drinks and smoke covered this section as they were occupying the table while having a serious conversation.
"Then move on."
A voice sternly stated his opinion catching other two men's attention. Taehyung sat on the chair and filled the lover boy's glass with whiskey. The youngest man didn't waited and gulped it in one go but when he extended his hand to take the bottle from Taehyung, his hyung pulled it away.
"I'm so done with this shit. Forget her jungkook, she's like the taste of rum you were having but it ended the time you tasted new you forget the former. There's tonnes of fish in the sea, you'll find a better one."
"But no one's like her."
"An old fruit and old lover should be thrown in trash otherwise they'll rot and smell vulgar. Start new, if not you still got a backup, you know." Jimin side eyed on Jungkook's hand and everyone knew who they were talking about.
"Never, at least not her. It's been three years since I saw her. I can never look at her in that way. All I see is a baby in pink dress, that's what she is, a fucking kid."
"How about a one night stand?" Taehyung took him off guard as he poured another portion into the tumblr. "Angry sex is the best. Let it out then your done. What you think about it, Jimin?"
Jimin pressed his lips together, he was not sure about the idea but he couldn't see his brother like friend suffering from a breakup.
Sometimes to forget memories you should bury them with new ones.
Taehyung grinned when Jimin silently nodded. It was a matter of time until he handed the whole bottle to Jungkook and said," Tonight's your night. Past is past, don't ruin your present or future, Mr. Jeon." With a boxy grin he patted Jimin's shoulder and grabbed him to the dance floor where a group of girls were swaying on the music.
After empty bottle dropped down on floor it was evident that the young Chaebol was drunk, so drunk that he could see blurry faces and two colliding images of single objects. He shook his head, licking off the layer of alcohol from his lips. In the huge crowd his eyes looked for his friends who could drive him back until they fell on a girl standing clueless in the moving mass.
Her figure was no joke. She looked young but an ethereal beauty to be noticed among trillions. Then he's eyes noticed that she wasn't hesitant but uncomfortable since two men were touching her, trying to take advantage of the gathering.
