I was finally done placing the food on the dining table when the phone rang beside the couch. I picked up the receiver and greeted.
"Hi, Y/N. This is Taehyung, Jungkook's friend. I am throwing a weekend party and want you to attend it with Jungkook."
"I'll inform him." He cuts me off nad said," You can also bring over your friends. They won't mind, would they?"
"No, they'll love it. Those party animals really love free food." I heard him chuckle before he bid goodbye. I did the same then glanced at the clock, it was pretty late.
That's when I heard the click of the door and he came in the view with a tired sigh. "I cooked dinner" I said. He snapped at me with a frown then hummed before going in the bedroom.
He came back in a gray sweatpants and black tshirt, ruffling his wet hair with a towel which he later threw on couch and sat on a chair opposite to mine.
"Can you not scatter wet towel here and there?" I exclaimed.
He stopped eating and said," It's my house, my life. I do what I like, so don't try to change me." I pouted before shoving a spoonful of rice in the mouth. It was awkward when none of us spoke, thus I decided to break it.
"Taehyung called earlier, he wants us to go to his weekend party." He finally looked up, arching his eyebrow." Why would he call you? Did he asked something else too?"
"No but he did invited my friends." He snickered and said," I know what he's doing. Nevertheless, it's not a problem to let your two friends come."
"Actually three... The president of cultural committee is my friend, who went home last month to look after his mother." He rolled his eyes, resuming to eat while listening to my further chattering. "He came back yesterday."
"He?"
"Yeah, Jung Hoseok. He's my competition in scoreboard though he's sweet." He poked his cheek, licking his lips. "Sweet causes diabetes, remember that." He took his last bite, lifting his dish plate to the sink, leaving me dumbfounded.
"He's weird." I mumbled under the breath while eating my dinner, watching him going in then out of his room, onto the couch where he started working on his laptop.
"Aren't you uncomfortable sitting here?"
"Wanna make me comfortable?" He smirked with double meaning. I glared at him before he broke the eye contact. "Then shut up, let me finish the presentation."
I was certified that this man was the most arrogant idiot I had ever seen. He worked there until I ate and as soon as I was finished he was gone too. Did he indirectly accompanied me? Well, I could never know.
The time flew while we never had a conversation after that dinner. Either he was busy or I was. Hence, it was finally weekend and we drove to the Taehyung's residence.
Jungkook went away to Jimin who was talking to someone while I saw my friends standing near the bar and walked towards them. "Where is he?"
A pair of hands wrapped around my waist and he said," Looking for me, gorgeous?" I chuckled before smacking his arms off. Hoseok beamed his sunshine smile because we all knew he used to platonically address every girl with compliments. I was no different from the millions.
