PERSONAL OVERSHADOWS SOCIAL
That's a smile sparkling through a happy heart,
That's a makeover beaming self-love,
That's an attire revealing the confidence level,
That's a rotation of the fairy skirt polishing her wings to fly high...
That's an agile, childish heart that reflects only happiness.
That's a strong power that attracted me to meet her.
Is it possible to survive here?
That's the only question I asked her.
This is her reply that allowed me to know my worth here -
"A soul with beauty,
Curtains down a social word - 'looks'...
The heights of positivity,
Reverses a social complaint - 'dwarfism'...
Color of inner brightness,
Darkens a social issue - 'racism'.
Hearts that love selflessly
Wins over the social scandals - 'homo or bisexuals'
Confidence for own skills,
Bows down social giggles - "a transgender"
My personal decisions overshadow the socials."
This is a poem written by the influence of a transgender. A bubbly transgender whom I noticed every day. She use to enjoy every second of her life, ignoring the surrounding. She just remain in her own joyful world where she follows her own decisions.
