A Gift- Taken Aback Forever

To see the first sunshine
When my eyes opened
On this heaven
On the tenderness of that lap.

That company which never lessened
My tooth less grin
Till my tooth grew....
The warmth of that hug
Resisted all my fears
Making my pale face smile.
But this year's children's day gift
A gift - not gifted but taken aback
Brought a melancholic blow
Took my companion away.

The nightmare curved into a sharp knife
Chopped my heart
With bloody tears..
Beginning a life without you.

The lose is irreversible...
The regret of being her adamant baby
Will remain persistent....
The preciousness is felt when it's too late...
She was "My Mother" then
She is "My Heartcore" now.

This poem was written in class 10 which was also an another poem of my secret diary. But I have recited this poem once in my school's morning assembly.
