"Lalisa!!" shouted en excited voice that I had missed so much.

She ran towards me and leaned down to hug me. She tightened around my body and I reciprocated, it was a lot the time that i had been separated from my best friend and those conversations through the phone didn't fulfill that void completely.

"Oh my! How have you changed!"

"What changed? I'm the same as the last time we saw each other," I said and separated from the hug.

"Please, your hair is different." She observed.

"The ball of hair I have on the head? Only the color has changed, my hair is still as messy as it was years ago," I joked. "But you haven't changed that much."

Effectively, Jennie hadn't changed at all, except for a few longer inches added to her hair. She had her hair brown straight, which reached a little under of her fragile shoulders that a sweater covered.

"Ehem" the girl that was beside us, Jisoo, cleared her throat, catching our attention.

We both looked at her.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Jennie said, giving her a quick hug with one of her arms. "It's just that I'm so excited," she said and the smile on her face expanded when she looked at me. "There are so many things I want to tell you!" she told me.

"Me too!" I said, excited.

"I suppose that you already met," her attention went back to Jisoo.

"Yeah." we both said at the same time and laughed at our synchronization.

"Ah! This is gonna be awesome!" Jennie exclaimed.

She got up from the ground with Jisoo as I kept sitting there.

"But what are you doing there? Get up, why didn't you get in?"

Jisoo extended her hand to help me get up. The desire of touching her exciting skin again invaded the palm of my hand extended towards me. I took it and she helped me get up.

"Thank you," I murmured.

She only smiled, separating the two gears that had been united again.

"The truth is, Jennie, that you left me the wrong key," I complained, trying to look at my friend instead of the perfection beside me.

"The wrong key?" she said, surprised.

"Yeah," I gave her the key that kept on the pocket of my jacket.

"Oh, sorry," she smiled at me. "Yes, I confused them," she looked through her bag and found three keys. "This was the one," she stayed silence for a moment. "That reminds me that i need to thank Mrs. Kang for doing the favor of giving you the key."

"The grumpy lady of the 312?" i asked, pointing with my thumb to that direction.

"Hey, she's not that grumpy; she's nice when she wants to," Jennie shrugged. "And let's say she almost never wants to, right?" I made a gesture of fright. The old lady didn't really behave that nice with me. "Couldn't you had left me the right key with a person a little less bitter?"

Jisoo laughed.

"You're exaggerating" Jennie said, moving her head from left to right and laughed. "I'm guessing you're tired so thank me that I already have your room ready," she gave me a smile of self-sufficiency, showing me all those perfectly white teeth.

"I'd thank you if you opened that door now," I joked.

Jennie laughed and inserted the key in the lock, making the door to finally open. I swallowed a victory yell.

"Get in and get comfortable, I'll be with you in a few minutes." she announced and indicated for me to get inside the apartment.

2I tried lifting both of my suitcases from the ground, but Jisoo beat me to it.

"Let me," she took them, one in every hand and went behind me, putting them in a corner of the living room.

"Thanks," I muttered and gave her a timid smile.

She returned it and that gesture provoked such inspiration in me; like the one a poet needs to their poetry, or a writer to its new novel.

Jisoo walked out the door and went with Jennie, I couldn't help but to look at her as she walked towards the exit.

My stomach made a sound, reminding me that i still had the cookie in half in my hand. I sat down in one of the chairs close to the kitchen. I bit the small piece I had left and chewed lazily.

"I came to return the CD my sister borrowed from you," Jisoo said with her velvet voice at the apartment door.

"Jisoo Unnie, love. You didn't have to worry, I told Rosé to return it whenever she wanted to." Jennie answered.

I chocked with the cookie. Love? What do you mean 'love'? I heard perfectly the smacking of Jennie's lips against some part of Jisoo's face while I tried to swallow the piece of wafer that had been stuck in my throat, feeling how it ache.
