The overwhelming dream woke me up, a nightmare that had covered most of my face with cold sweat that forced me to open my eyes, almost as hastily as I got up.
The horrible accident of my parents of my parents had been proyected that night in my dreams. I looked at the clock, still with my nerves to the highest point. It was 7:42. I sighed and got up from the bed, I had slept with the same clothes I came with, so I took a quick shower and then changed.
I went to the kitchen and Jennie was still not awake. That gave me time to prepare breakfast for both.
I made a couple of tasty with jam and cheese next to an apple, then I made orange juice.
"Mmm! What smells so good?" Jennie walked out of her room, directly to the kitchen, then smiled at me.
We both laughed and started eating.
"Aww," she exclaimed. "It's so good having you here. What plans do you have for today?"
"I thought you'd make my agenda today," I said, confused.
The big smile of the owner expanded through her face.
"I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget," she laughed again. "I'll take you to all the best shopping stores that you've ever seen." the excitement was crystal clear in her eyes.
"Awesome!"
Clothes. You could say we both were addicted to fashion or something like that, so going shopping with my best friend again was something that excited me to no end. Every time we went to a store, we both ended with more than five bags in each hand.
It was cold, an icy air roamed all around the streets of Seoul as my best friend and I walked through them.
"What happened with Jungkook? I never knew that." she said and I looked at at her confused. "I mean I never knew how you got over him."
"Oh, well, I just decided to get over him." I shrugged and kept my gaze through the window on a beautiful brown coat.
Jennie's reflection appeared beside me and a sudden curiosity came to me like a wave.
"Tell me, Nini, how did you meet Jisoo?" I muttered without looking at her, pretending to look closely at the coat, nervously.
"In a coffee shop, a rainy day." She sighed, as if suddenly she saw the memory again and her mind got lost in it, then I looked at her. "She got closer and talked a little. She's so funny!" Jennie sighed. "She told me she was born in Busan and that came to Seoul for the same reason as me: to forget lovers of the past, although she still hasn't told me what happened..." the brunette got lost but after a moment got back with the happy mood. "After laughing for a while, she asked me for my number and that night, Jisoo called me." she smiled. "She just wanted to wish me goodnight," Jennie sighed, dreamily.
"It sounds like... a fairy tale," I smiled.
"I feel like I'm in one!" she smiled too. "God! I'm so happy!" she hugged me, completely full of excitement; something she always did when she was like that.
"How old is she?" I asked, pulling away from her hug.
"Twenty four."
"There isn't too much difference. You're twenty three." I said, relieved.
"Wanna know what they call us?" she asked, excited.
"What?"
"That we're the perfect couple. That we're made for each other. That we were born to be together." she sighed.
I was happy, but something inside me, deep inside me, fidgeted uncomfortably, like a small creature caged at the very end of a dark room, far away from the exit; but nevertheless, eager to get out.
"I'm so happy for you,"
"Oh, I know! We could all go out sometime, that way I can introduce you." Jennie said.
"All...?"
