"In my car." Jisoo said, as if it was obvious and then pointed towards the vehicle beside her.
It was a Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid in color black.
"In your car..." i mumbled. "Of course, I should've known." I laughed, feeling stupid.
She smiled at me and then opened the codriver seat.
"Get in." she indicated.
I got closer and she helped me get in, taking my hand to serve as a support. Something in my stomach made a flip, and I was sure it wasn't the little creature; because right now, it was very still, not doing any kind of movement.
"Thanks." i muttered, blushing.
"You're welcome," Jisoo smiled again, making the blush to darken more. I was starting to think she was doing it on purpose.
I put the case with my camera on my thighs.
She got up on her seat, and started the motor of the van to finally drive.
"Nice vehicle." I said.
"Thanks, but I like more my sister's." she said, truthfully. "Oh! Now that I remember, she said she'd be happy to know you."
"What?"
"Jen's idea."
"Oh, right, well in that case, great." I said.
"You'll like her, she's a good person." she told me as she turned the steering wheel to the right.
"Are you trying to do the same as Jennie?" I inquired, narrowing eyes while looking at her.
"What?" the confusion note she did with her voice didn't seem fake to me.
"Trying to find me someone." I said.
She laughed and took off her sunglasses, giving free pass to her eyes.
"Jendeukie does that?"
"She's doing it, I'm sure." I muttered and then crossed my arms, getting comfortable on the seat.
She laughed again.
"Well, I swear I'm not doing it with those intentions." Jisoo smiled and then stopped on a red light.
"And how can I believe you?" I inquired, raising an eyebrow.
"It's not enough to promise it?" she asked, laughing.
"Not really," I shook my head.
We kept on going when the light turned green.
"Well, I thought maybe you already had someone." Jisoo said.
"What made you think that?"
"Well, you're pretty," she shrugged. "I don't see why not."
I froze and formulating anything, a sentence, a word, was completely impossible such as any thoughts. I was pretty to her.
The blush came back to my cheeks, painting them of red.
"Thanks" I muttered.
"Do you believe me now?" she smiled.
"Maybe."
Her smile grew and rolled her eyes.
"You sure are stubborn, aren't 'cha?"
"No, just a little hard to convince."
"It's okay, it's okay. That's a reason why I hadn't thought of pairing you with my sister, the other is because Rosé's in love with a mysterious girl."
"A mysterious girl?"
Jisoo shrugged.
"I know her enough to tell that she's in love, the problem is that she doesn't wanna tell me who it is."
"Well, everyone has the right to privacy." I shrugged and she looked at me. "A friend told me that once."
"Well, I think you're right." She smiled. "Although I would like to know."
"You're a curious girl, aren't 'cha?" I guessed and copied the accent she used on me.
"Very." She admitted.
She turned around in a street and kept on going straight. I looked through the window, falling more in love with Seoul every second passing. It's buildings, the streets, everything seemed amazing to me.
"So pretty," I whispered.
"What's pretty?" she asked and my attention went back to her.
"The city, the people, everything"
She laughed again.
"Yeah, the first time you visit Seoul you usually fall in love with the place."
"For how log have you lived here?" I asked.
"Almost two years."
"Two years?" my eyes shot open, as wide as plates.
"Almost. Well, truth to be told... a year and a half."
"Wow, why?" I stopped midsentence, remembering Jennie's words: "She told me she was from Busan, that she was born there and had come to Seoul for the same thing I did: forget lovers of the past, although until now, she hasn't told me what happened"
"Why what?"
"So you're from Busan?" I said, trying to avoid my past question, erase it from the conversation or something like that.
"Yeah, I was born there," she answered, "but why what?" she insisted again.
She looked at me with narrowed eyes, not completely convinced and then put her attention on the thing i had on my legs.
"What is that?" she asked.
"Oh, my camera."
"You're a photographer?" the brunette said, surprised.
"Yeah, and I adore being it."
"So you like art," she concluded.
"Of course."
"You know? I like music."
"Do you play any instrument?"
"A little bit the guitar, but what I like the most i to sing."
"I'm sure you have a beautiful voice."
She smiled, flattered by my comment.
"Thanks."
Jisoo kept driving and every movement she did, provoked a weird feeling of enchantment inside of me, in that moment, the answer of the question Jennie had asked me was heard in my head: yes, she was perfect.
"After a few more minutes, her voice interrupted the silence.
"We're here," she announced, excited.
I looked up front, to the left and i marveled at what I saw.
I got out the car and she did the same. I could feel the cold brushing my arms.
"Come, let's go. We have to go to one of the gondolas," she made a head movement indicating for me to follow her.
We got closer and i could see the canal water and three other people wanting to get onto the black wooden transport. I stopped right before getting on it.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"I heard the canal waters in Seoul are deep," I said, with fear.
Jisoo laughed.
"Are you scared?"
