I was taking a nap when I was woken up by Madison's screams on the phone with Oliver, both of them excited to see me partying again. Yes I admit I was totally a different person during concerts and especially when there were drinks around.
"Mads shut the fuck up." I yelled from the room
In less than ten seconds Madison walks into my room with a cup of coffee to make it up to me, we've been friends for two years and she still forgets that my coffee has to be hot but I love her for that too.
"Well what was all the shouting about? Has Oliver finally found a non-toxic boyfriend?" I asked laughing.
"No Anne, better, we've got seats in the front and drink cards!"
Well I have to admit that inside me, a little part of me was screaming for drink cards.
"Girls I'm home, sorry I had to return a mountain of books to the library. I swear I'll get ready in a second" Caryl said as if she had just run a marathon.
I opted for a simple off-the-shoulder top, a skirt and my ever-present boots.
"Bloody hell Anne, you look great," Caryl said as she looked at me, Mads' comment wasn't long in coming, "Okay explain to me how you go from college student to thunderstorms, love."
When we got to the venue it was already a bit crowded, the band was supposed to play at ten but we went half an hour early to hang out with Oliver. Oliver was a great guy, we made friends with him when he helped Madison throw up at a party.
"Oli, Anne wants to know how good these guys are. You know them so please tell her about them.
"They're great, flawless in their playing and the singer is fucking cute, maybe one of you will find your soulmate tonight," Oliver said with a wink and a laugh.
Okay it was time to take our seats, let the show begin!
