The sound of water splashing was heard, it was followed by a soft sensation, it was grass. It was then followed by an earthy smell, it was soil.
All of these greeted every sense that could be felt by the body. It was usually something that many didn't want to come into contact with.
But for the small body that each of these could be felt by.
It felt quite nice.
It was comforting, this felt foreign to the body. This feeling of serenity was something unlike any, another sensation, was loneliness.
The body slightly raised its head, revealing itself to be a boy. His eyes wandered around and he could only wonder where he was. And how did he arrive at such a place? And who was he?
The boy didn't remember a thing, he had Amnesia. But there was something he could remember; it was a creature. A large one at that, it was red with hard scales and had large intense yellow eyes, it also had wings. The creature was surrounded by nothingness, an endless void.
That was all he could remember, facing that winged creature before he lost consciousness.
"Where am I?"
His gaze slowly drifted, but he instantly lowered it. The light of the sun shined directly into his vision. He moved his face to the side this time, he opened his eyes once again and while it took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the light, he could finally make out everything from where he lay.
He took in the scenery in front of him, and he found himself lying in a garden, a quite lovely one at that as well. There was a neatly designed fountain made of white marble and several beds of flowers with many kinds of flowers. But the garden paled in comparison to the white pavilion in the distance. it was greatly oversized.
He moved his face in the other direction, and he instantly raised his eyebrows. It looked like the garden he was in was inside of a castle. A beautifully designed castle if he might add.
It was built with the same white stone as the pavilion, it was decorated with various mineral stones. Another thing he was fascinated with was whoever designed this castle had a love for the color red, no, crimson. If it wasn't white stone then it was crimson colored.
Suddenly the boy's ear twitched, it picked up someone's footsteps. He tried to pick himself up and hide but failed, his body was too exhausted to do even the simplest of movements. As the footsteps started to close in, he switched to a more tactical way of disguising himself.
He closed his eyes and pretended to be dead. He didn't know why this was the idea that he had, but it just felt right. Like how an animal would fake its death to fool their predator into not eating them.
"Well... This is quite interesting."
The sound of a man's voice came from above him. The boy didn't know why, but he felt that just associating himself with the owner of the voice could and would only cause him trouble. There was a jovial tone in the man's voice that suggested that he was quite happy-go-lucky. To put it in simpler words, he didn't want to get involved with a moronic fool.
"I've always thought the security here was top-notch, with the detection barrier and so on activated. Moreover, my dear Queen was the one who made the barrier. Moreover, it should be impractical for anyone to get inside without her knowing," The man boasted. While the boy simply remained silent and still. The man became silent for a moment waiting for a response, but when he got none, his face closer to the boy. "Hey, are you sleeping?" There was no response, "Wake up~, I have candy with me~." The boy had no interest in sweets, but he wouldn't mind if it was something related to meat, "I have deluxe figurines of Goku and Vegeta~! You're jealous that's it right?"
