Chapter 2

~Six Years Later: March 12, 2015~

I am just now walking home from working out. God, I cannot wait until school is out for the summer! I only got four and a half months left, and I get to turn 17 years old! That means I get to finally have my own car. Suddenly, I started walking by a bookstore.

"Well," I said to myself, "I could find something to read if I get bored." I walked in the bookstore, and I started looking around. A few minutes later, I was about to leave with nothing until I finally found the book I might actually need:a book titled "The Spell Book of the Living Dead." Oh my God, this is perfect, I thought. I picked up the book, paid for it, and then left the store.

30 minutes later, I arrived home, and I went upstairs to my room. I put the book in my bookshelf, and I left my room. As I came downstairs, I see my mom. "Oh, Carly! I didn't know you were home," Mom said.

"Yeah," I replied, "I just got home a minute ago." "Your uncle Mike is coming over tonight, just so you know," Mom informs. "Ok, Mom," I said and went to the kitchen.

A couple hours later, Uncle Mike arrived at our house. "Hey, Carly," Mike greeted me, "I have something for you." He handed me a bag with a box in it. I took out the box, and it was a doll.

It wasn't just any doll, though. It was a Michael Jackson doll from Black or White. "Oh my God! I love it," I said excitedly, "Thank you!"

I hugged him, and he hugs back. I go upstairs to my room, I took the doll out of the box, and I put it on top of the dresser beside my bed. "I think right now would be good to try that book," I muttered to myself. I got out the spell book I got earlier, and I opened it.

How to turn the dead to life:
1.Get at least a bucket of seashells, and form them into a big circle.

2. Get a brush or comb that has that certain person's hair.

I went to the bathroom, and I got Matthew's brush. Honestly, I'm surprised that there's still some if his hair in it!

3. Put the brush or comb in the middle of the circle.

I put the brush in the middle of the circle. After that, Mike came in the room. "Carly, what are you doing?" Mike asked. "Nothing," I replied, "Please don't touch anything. I need to use the bathroom."

"Ok," said Mike. I went to the bathroom.

~Mike's P.O.V.~

While Carly is using the bathroom, I started looking around her room. I saw the doll I gave her, sitting on her dresser, and its hair looked kinda messy. I picked up Carly's brush from the floor and brushed the doll's hair. After that, I put the brush back where I found it, put the doll back in the dresser, and I left.

~Normal P.O.V.~

I got out the bathroom, and I continued looking at the book.

4. Say the words, "I wish for the dead to be alive," over and over again until that person appears.

"Ok," I said, "I wish for the dead to be alive. I wish for the dead to be alive. I wish for the dead to be alive..." I got into bed and continued saying the words in my sleep.
