Omega!Mikey pregnancy hcs part 1

warnings: mpreg, mentions of abortion and adoption, omegaverse obviously

• I think it's highly unlikely that he'll get pregnant because of the life he lives, but he wants to so bad. He's already very protective of his mate and he knows enemies will go after his pup too.

• Mikey is very fertile and has a very high instinct to just want and just take care of a child. During his heats, he really gets emotional about not being ready to get pregnant and you have to comfort him. He once didn't talk to you for almost a week because you didn't knot him.

• If ever does get pregnant, it'll either be unplanned or if he retires toman.

If it's unplanned:

• It'll most likely be because your rut and his heat were so intense. He'll beg you so hard to knot him. You couldn't stand to see Mikey so painfully desperate and you wanted to knot him so bad. You guys forgot to buy a plan b which eventually caused him to show pregnancy symptoms.

• He didn't want to tell you that he may be pregnant so he bought the test by himself.

When it came out positive, he felt happy for a moment. Then he realized. He runs a gang. This child will not be safe. What if you leave him?

• He almost considers secretly terminating the pregnancy. He gets emotional. He wants this child so bad. He would be absolutely broken if you left him but he has to tell you. He'll do everything to protect his pup even though he's living a life of danger.

• He tells ken-chin first. He is very disappointed in him for being so irresponsible. He suggests for Mikey to put the child for adoption but Mikey has a breakdown. The thought of his pup being orphaned and hating him for giving them up is overwhelming.

• Draken knows Manjiro is not gonna back down. He reminds him that he has to tell you as soon as possible. You are also responsible for this mess. And if you leave Mikey, he'll never forgive you for this.

• About two days after that discussion, he decided to tell you. He was feeling so much anxiety leading up to ringing your doorbell. You opened the door to a teary-eyed Mikey.

• You brought him inside as you cupped his cheeks "babe, what's wrong?" "..." "Come on Manjiro...please tell me." "....I'm pregnant.."

• you were shocked. You didn't know what to think. But you're not going to abandon your mate. "Mikey...you are carrying our pup. No matter what happens I'll always be here for you. If you wanna keep this child I'll raise it with you" you said "y/n...I think...I wanna keep it."

• He was so relieved. But now...he has to go into hiding until he gives birth.

First trimester:

• Carries out as normal. He can't fight anymore but does meetings and stuff as normal. He has you scent him way more because he feels protected

• He nests a lot more. Even though his baby bump is small, he loves it when you rub and kiss it while you're both laying in his nest.

• Gets morning sickness. But when you let out a calming scent, it relieves it almost immediately. His friends and family are allowed to sit in his nest. He wants company after all.

• You thought he loved dorayaki too much before? Well, now it's an obsession. Y'all have to stock up on it so he doesn't whine in the middle of the night for you to go get it at the store. Overall acts the same but a little whinier.

Second trimester:

• Has to go into hiding. You guys move out of Tokyo to a small cabin in the countryside. He doesn't wanna do this but he knew what he was going to get himself into.

• Draken is in charge of toman for now. It upsets Mikey to not be with the gang but he wants to protect his pup. Plus he has you, and his friends can discreetly visit. OCCASIONALLY allows his friends in his nest. They love pampering him.

• His bump starts showing. Absolutely melts when you talk to his belly. Way more protective of you and his pup. He gets anxious when you leave his nest to get something or even go outside without him.

• He absolutely needs you to scent him and needs to scent you. Wants to follow you everywhere but his back hurts:(. You can still carry him but he's heavier now.

• His cravings go haywire. Will have a breakdown when the food he wants is not available(especially kid's meals with a flag on them). And worse, he has to wait long for the food to mail in. He feels really bad for doing this but he can't control his hormones.

• He was in his nest with you when the baby started kicking. "Y/n! Did you see that? Our pup is kicking!" You put your hand on his stomach as you feel the baby moving. "....oh my god..." you said in awe. You look up to see tears of joy streaming down Mikey's face. "Manjiro...our pup is really inside you." You kiss all over his face. You're just so happy.

Third trimester:

• Wants this baby out. Now. His back hurts, it's kicking him so much, he's tired, he's hot, and he can't sleep. He's so emotional and he hates it so much.

• Will not let anyone in his nest except for his alpha. He will NOT let you leave his nest. He will force himself to get up and follow you around to "protect" you. When he's way too weak to get up, he will cry for you to come back and wail about how dangerous it is for you to not be in his sight.

• All omegas have a temporary chest growth for milk. It's usually small and will shrink back to its normal size when they stop breastfeeding completely. Mikey doesn't take this change very well. He's leaking milk everywhere and it's getting on his nerves.

• He'll start having doubts about whether he's going to be a good father, or if he's even a good omega. Please reassure him that he's amazing and you won't leave him. This will be the worst part of his whole pregnancy. You gotta scent him all the time to show that you love him.

Labor:

• He gives birth in your cabin bed styled as a nest. It takes 4 hours in total. Screams. So. Damn. Loud. Even though his birth went smoother than the average omega, he screams like he's getting murdered. You and your loved ones expected this. The midwife was a bit horrified.

• Holds your hand very tight. And don't even think about letting go. As advised, you let out your pheromones to calm him down. "It's okay Mikey, just relax and breathe. It'll make this a lot easier for you." HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO RELAX WHEN THERE'S A FUCKING HUMAN COMING OUT OF ME Y/N!?!?!?" He yelled. You let out more of your pheromones. "Babe...I love you so much and I want you to finish this as soon as possible. But please...you can scream to help the pain but can you relax your muscles for me?" ".....Fine." Now he was only screaming when the contractions hit really bad. He wasn't holding your hand as tightly and the room was calmer.

• About 30 minutes later the pup is born. As he holds the baby to his chest, he realizes that this is yours and his pup. He would do everything for this beautiful creature. He hands the baby to you. Your heart is so full. You're so proud of your mate for growing this bundle of joy inside of him. He has a tired smile as you kiss all over his face. It's going to be one hell of a journey raising this child with the life that you guys are living. But all that matters right now is that you're a family now.
