"I want to make very clear that I don't agree with this" he stated.

"I understand", she responded.

"I blame and resent your mother."

"That's fair I suppose" she absentmindedly noticed.

"I mean... Dr. Lawson has finally given me permission... for 'physical' exercise so to speak".

"I know..." she said with a slight blush.

"So, it's not fair that your mother expects us not to see each other again until the wedding because of some archaic old wives' tale that it's 'bad luck'".

"Also, it's not... like you're still a virgin for Christ's sake. You know I took care of that" he said with a chuckle and at this point she did have to stop and look at him and was fully intending to give him a reprimanding look, but his grin prevented her.

"It's only 2 nights" she said.

"Only 2 nights she says!" he exclaimed in dismay.

"That is way too much, and may I say? Why the fuss? I mean we have been married before why we can't just go to church one morning-"

"That is not possible because- "but he just rambled on not, listening to her.

"And just get married within fifteen minutes time..."

"It would be against decorum; furthermore- " but he didn't listen to her and just continued on.

"To then lock ourselves in our bedroom and not come out for the next four days."

"Draco!"

"What?" he smirked.

"What?" Draco repeated as he pulled on her arm and leaned against the wall, quickly engulfing her; while his hands grasped her face and he smiled. He was just about to lean forward until they both heard a voice.

"Draco! Mara. Where are you?"

"Bloody hell" growled Draco.

"That's your mother..." exclaimed a slightly flustered Mara; perplexed by Draco's presence and how her body responded to his; his hard chest pressed against hers. They had kissed a few times so far and left it at that because of Draco's but the last few days the two of them had been unable to keep their hands off each other and as a result; regularly ended up late for their appointments, much to the annoyance of the staff who were busy planning the wedding. But the pull was too strong

"Yeah, I know, just pretend you didn't hear her" he whispered as he tried to lean forward again and this time it looked like he was going to be successful with his endeavour but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

"Oh, there you are..." brought out a slightly embarrassed Narcissa at the sight of the two of them quickly distancing themselves from each other but staying in touching distance.

"Mara. You must go to your fitting. The servants have been looking for you all along. ".

"My apologies Narcissa" said Mara as she felt guilty. "I will go there as soon as possible"

"As for you Draco. Your friend and Dante are in the White Hall and would like to see you" said Narcissa with an imperative look. In the White Hall? That hall was for parties and other events; what would those two be doing there? He sighed; looked at Mara with a miffed look; and then left.

"Come dear;" said Narcissa to Mara. "Let's go."

After a few minutes of walking, Draco had arrived where he had been asked to arrive. He knocked and listened at the door but didn't hear much; except for Dante ordering him to come in.
