Chapter 10

The teens were walking home.

"Well, they were sprightly" said Bethany.

"Especially for a band for kids" Martha scoffed.

"That video was a'ight though" said Fridge.

"But seriously, that tall guy. He was super weird. At least I know his name now" said Martha.

"He likes you. What's wrong with that?" said Spencer.

"Likes me? That's ridiculous! He spied on me during gym class and then he and his stupid band forced me into watching this stupid video" said Martha disgustedly.

"You think that's creepy? That Greg guy forced us to come with him after encountering my personal business during the quiz" said Bethany.

"What is his deal?" said Martha.

"I dunno" said Bethany.

"You know what? Forget those guys. Out of my way, Spencer" said Fridge.

"What are you mad at me for?" said Spencer.

"Are you seriously asking me that? You got me kicked off the team and then you got me stuck with whatever those strange guys were. And you wonderin why we not friends no more" said Fridge.

"That's why we're not friends anymore? Because you didn't wanna meet the Wiggles? I don't think so." said Spencer.

His story was "We're not friends because I'm not cool enough to hang out with you so you pretended not to know me anymore. Until you needed me to do your homework because you couldn't do it yourself. No wonder you don't know anything about westward expansion"

"That's it? You know what? I'm not stupid, Spencer! I asked you to do me one simple favor! And you couldn't even do that. Now I can't do the one thing that I'm actually good at! I should kick the daylights out you right now" said Fridge.

A slow tear fell down Spencer's face.

"I can't believe I went through whatever those guys are" said Bethany.

"I can't believe I even exist" said Martha.

Then the teens went back to their houses after a long hard day of learning and detention.
