Bethany and Greg were on a walk in the park.

"Greg, would you please give me some space? I only need one shadow" said Bethany.

Greg didn't say anything.

"N-no, I'm sorry. I'm still trying to take in Australia" said Bethany.

"I understand." said Greg.

He took out a guitar and had Bethany sit on a bench with him.

"Listen, Bethany. I've had this in mind since you told me not to tease you" said Greg.

Bethany nodded her head in agreement.

Greg played his guitar and sang.

I'm not a man to lie

I'm not a man of words

I'm not about to give my heart away

Without a reason

You know there's pain within

A wall too high to climb

If that wall fell down then it would cause

The changing of the season

Then I come to you with open arms

Feel the warmth of your breath upon my skin

When I feel your soul give all its love to me

I'm living on a cloud, I'm living on a cloud

You're a little out of reach

I'm longing for your touch

Side by side to sit and talk with you

No barriers between us

You know it's not the same

Whenever we're apart

I feel you shut me out and lock the door

Not caring all too much

Then I come to you with open arms

Feel the warmth of your breath upon my skin

When I feel your soul give all its love to me

I'm living on a cloud, I'm living on a cloud

Time just cannot heal

Feelings that we've had

We need much more than time to get them back

And travel on together

The road must have an end

When will it arrive?

Every time we meet, I still feel love

Enough to last forever

Then I come to you with open arms

Feel the warmth of your breath upon my skin

When I feel your soul give all its love to me

I'm living on a cloud

Then I come to you with open arms

Feel the warmth of your breath upon my skin

When I feel your soul give all its love to me

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

I'm living on a cloud

"That's the most mature song I've ever heard you sing" said Bethany.

"I wrote it not long ago. For you" said Greg.

"Me?"

"Yeah"

"W-why would you write it for me?" said Bethany.

Greg didn't say a thing.

"What?" said Bethany.

Greg still didn't answer.

"Are you gonna talk?" said Bethany.

Nothing.

"What? I love the song" said Bethany.

Greg still didn't talk back.

Bethany got frustrated and said "I'm going home. How hard can it be to talk to the pasty-faced singer of a kids band?!"

Then she ran off.

Greg stood up but was too nervous to run after her.

The song Greg sang is his own song titled "With Open Arms".
