KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Tsumaru, I need your help," Izuku asked, barging into the frog boy's room. Thankfully his mother was kind enough to let him into the house and pointed in the direction of her son's room. Izuku dashed by Tsumaru's young goth sister and even younger baby brother.

The boy was in such a rush that it took a moment before Izuku realized what the frog was looking at on his PC. Like any person who suddenly had someone burst into their room while they were surfing the web, Tsumaru stared like a deer in headlight as he casually exits off a tab.

...

...

...

...

Clearing his voice to sound casual, Tsumaru asked, "What? -kero"

Slowly pointing at the computer screen, a bewildered Izuku asked, "Why were you looking up Turkish oil wrestling-"

"Nothing! It's research! Nothing!" snapped Tsumaru quickly, closing his PC to take it out of the conversation, "What do you want?"

"...How do you hang out with girls!?"

"...Dude are you serious? You really came in here with a premise like that?"

"I'm sorry I came in and interrupted... whatever you were doing."

"Research."

"Bad lies only makes it worse," Izuku mumbled to himself before continuing, "What I was searching for was advice."

Scratching his head, Tsumaru asked, "I mean, depends on the girl and your intentions with her. If you actually want to leave an impression on her maybe go out to a nice place where you can eat, walk around, and connect. If you have other motives then I suggest some streaming service and chilling, preferably at a home."

"You sure the second one isn't too casual? It doesn't sound like something that'll be eventful," question Izuku, not quite seeing the appeal of the suggestion. Going to a movie theater, that's something he can see, but why do the equivalent of watching tv at home.

After receiving the longest frog stare, Tsumaru tongue slapped him.

Holding his cheek, Izuku asked, "What was that for!?"

"Being too innocent," explained the frog boy, "Anyways, what's this for? Do you have a date or something?"

"What!? Me, no course not! Just curious was all," stammered Izuku, his actor skills would be top-notch, if he was casting in The Room.

Giving a look that said the frog boy didn't believe a word being said, Tsumaru turned back to his PC before stating, "Bullshit, but I don't care enough to investigate. You got my piece on the matter."

"Thanks..... But I wanna know if I have to be romantic with her?"

"... It's a date."

"I-i know, it's just- what if I don't immediately feel like hitting it off with the girl."

"Then why go on a date with her? Unless this is some pity date situation, you usually should have that kind of reasoning to go out with a girl or else you're wasting your time and hers."

"Not every time! It could be just to get out of the house! I'm just looking for ideas for a casual date."

"For curiosity sake?" stated Tsumaru, glaring back at him.

Gulping, remembering that he was lying Izuku said, "R-right."

"...If it's casual and you don't care for the aftermath then just pick something you can go out and enjoy without expending much resources. Like a park, or maybe even go bowling. Make sure it's somewhere you can feel comfortable being, if you're uncomfortable and awkward she's also going to be the same," Tsumaru said, opening up a word document and typing a flurry of moves, "Pick something familiar."

Izuku put a hand under his chin as he pondered to himself, "Familiar.... I think I get what you're going for!"

"Do whatever you want- kero," Tsumaru told him, continuing to type away.

"Thanks Tsumaru, you're a lifesaver," Izuku told him, before dashing out the room without closing the door.

The frog sighed before turning around in his chair and closing the door with his tongue. Now that he was alone again, he went into his history to get back to his research video.

"Ali Gurbuz let's see what you got," the frog mumbled to himself, enjoying the sport. When he watched the professional execute a godly slam, Tsumaru started unbuckling his pants, an ecstatic look flared on his face, "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

Of all places Izuku could think of, there was only a single place he would feel comfortable going out to with someone.

"A garden-themed country fair," exclaimed Izuku, gesturing to the fair consistently mostly of middle-age women.

Minerva, who was next to him, only had a look of disappointment and confusion on her place. Turning to Izuku she murmured, "Not exactly what I was expecting, this is..... A differently interesting choice."

Looking a bit relieved, Izuku said, "Yeah, I thought something new to you would pique your attention for this date."

"You can say that," mumbled the violet-haired shortstack, scratching the side of her cheek. In all honesty she was hoping for a place where she can do all kinds of mischief to him, like a movie theater for some mid-movie sucking, "It's just surprising you didn't choose something like HeroMax and chill. Which is still an option right now!"

"Nah, it felt too disrespectful if I made the date too simple. I can't imagine how much fun can be had sitting on a couch staring at a TV. We can do that anytime," stated Izuku, his eyes being purer then white snow.

Minerva slowly face palmed herself, mumbling, "God damn it Izuku, what am I going to do with you."
