Two years later...

"I'm fine Zeb!" I said as the Lasat followed at my heels while walking through Yavin's temple.

"But you're looking like you're leg is extra painful today, I'm just making sure you don't need me!" He said.

"I'm fine! It's just, it's just about to snow! My leg does this whenever it's about to snow, but does get worse when it does snow or on a planet that is already snowing!" I said.

"I know, but given that you slipped and fell last year, of which you sprained your ankle, which caused you to get desk duty for weeks, you can understand my concern!" He said.

"I know Zeb!" I said, smiling. He smiled and that sent my heart flying through the temple.

"Rex! Can I ask you a favor?" I asked, walking up to the old Clone.

"Yeah, what's up Kallus?" He asked.

"I was wondering if you could help me update my fighting style because I'm kind of lacking since facing Thrawn!" I said.

"I'd be honored to help, but if you don't mind my asking, why don't you ask Zeb? You're better friends with him then me!" He said.

"We spar all the time when he's on planet and he's needed with the Security Department Meeting!" I said.

"What was that Kallus?" He asked, smirking.

"What was what?" I asked.

"That blushing when we were talking about Zeb!" He said.

"I..I...I...did no such thing!" I stammered.

"You so did! Are you crushing on the resident Lasat Kallus?" He asked, elbowing me in my ribs.

"I so do not have a crush on him!" I lied, know full well I was crushing on him something fierce.

"Then why are you blushing even deeper than, huh, Loverboy?" Rex asked, smirking again.

"I'm not blushing at all Rex!" I lied, looking away from him.

"By the Force! You're in love with him, aren't you?" He asked.

"No, I'm not!" I hesitated.

"Really Kallus?" He asked, smirking and raising an eyebrow.

"Ok, fine! I'm in love with Zeb, I just couldn't admit it to myself!" I said, shedding a few tears.

"Wow!" He said, looking a little shocked.

"Can we please get back to you helping me with my fighting skills?" I asked, wiping away the tears.

"Alright, yes! Where should we go?" He asked.

"How about near the Ghost?" I asked.

"Are you sure about that Kallus? Because the security meeting could get out any minute now and as being part of the Ghost Crew, there's a chance that Zeb can come back to the Ghost!" Rex teased, smirking again.

"Karrabast Rex! Follow me, I know a clearing not far from here in the trees!" I grumbled, walking away.

"Right behind you Kallus!" He said, chuckling with a smirk on his lips.

"Quit smirking, Dick!" I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

One week later...

"You're a quick learner Kallus! There's nothing more I can teach you!" Rex said after our sparring.

"Thanks for your help Rex!" I said, wiping my face with a towel.

"Any time Kallus!" He said, smiling.

"What's going on here?" Zeb asked as we passed the Ghost.

"Just some training Zeb!" I said.

"Why would you need extra training, especially from an Old Clone like him?" Zeb asked.

"I need the training incase I run into Thrawn again and I asked Rex for help because he knows several types of hand to hand techniques that I thought might help! Plus, he's alot more agile and fit then you may think!" I said, brushing past the Lasat as I headed to my quarters to shower.

One month later...

"Yes Mon Mothma?" I asked, walking into the Command Center.

"We need you to take Rex and Zeb to hack into an Imperial Outpost computer on Lurentia in the Lurentian system!" She said. I nodded and got the coordinates for the system, planet, and the Outpost on the planet.

"When do we get there?" Zeb asked while walking into the cockpit of my modified VCX-100 Light Freighter (his own version of the Ghost).

"It'll take about a standard day of Hyperspace travel and several Hyperspace trips to get there, relax Zeb!" I said, sitting in the pilot's seat.

"I can't! I need action!" He whined, sitting next to me in the co-pilot seat.

"I'm sure Kallus can show you some action!" Rex said, smirking while laughing and leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.

"What does that mean?" Zeb asked while I blushed.

"He's crazy! He's an old man who's lost his mind!" I said, going over to the Old Clone and pushing him from the room.

"You ok?" Rex asked, smirking while in my room.

"Are you insane? Why are you bringing up my crush on Zeb by suggesting that we put in some mattress time?" I asked, holding back tears.

"Sorry Kallus! I was only joking!" He said.

"Well, it wasn't funny!" I said, stomping from the room and back into the cockpit.
