"Hey Mon Mothma!" I said, walking into the Command Center where Hera, Rex, Chopper, Zeb, and General Liea were already gathered.

"Hello Captain Kallus, we have a report that Thrawn has been seen on the jungle planet of Gurenia by a team we sent to scout potential planets for us recently! We want you to go with the Ghost Crew to look into the report!" She said.

"Ok Ma'am!" I said.

"Ok, Kallus, you're bunking with Zeb since Rex is in Sabine's room for now and that's only got one bed!" Hera said while we entered Hyperspace.

"Come on Hera! Don't do this to me!" Zeb pleaded.

"There's no other option Zeb!" Hera said.

"It's fine Hera! I'm going to be sleeping in the common area to avoid upsetting your team dynamic!" I said, leaving the cockpit.

"Hey Kallus, you ok?" Rex asked me in the middle of the ship's night cycle.

"I'm fine Rex!" I lied, tossing and turning.

"Really, because from my point of view, you're beating yourself up over breaking up with your best friend, of whom you're still pining for something fierce!" He said, leaning up against the entryway of the common area, arms crossed.

"Even though he never visited me to make sure I was recovering well enough, I've always felt comfortable around him, and he still sends my heart to the heavens above everytime he looks at me! I don't know what that man does to me!" I said, tears in my eyes.

"Tell him then!" Rex said.

"I can't tell him, he hates me enough as it is!" I said.

"You'll never truly know until you tell them Kallus!" He said.

"I can't! They'd never return my feelings anyway, especially considering all I did to them, and the crimes I committed against their homeworld years ago!" I said.

"Maybe he loves you too! Just tell him how you feeling, you'd never know until you do tell him! You really want to go through life not knowing if he loves you too, or even what could have been, all alone?" He stated.

"In this case, yes!" I said, sitting up and letting the tears free.

"Oh Kallus!" He said, sitting next to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me close.

"Thanks for helping me work through my feelings and helping comfort me when I need it!" I said.

"Your welcome Kallus!" He said.

"You can call me Alex, since you know my name now!" I said, smiling sheepishly.

"Can do Alex!" He said, smirking.

"Ok, Kallus, I want you to go with Zeb while I take Rex and Chopper stays to pilot the Ghost incase we get into trouble!" Hera ordered after we landed at the coordinates from the report.

"But Hera...!" Zeb started.

"No Zeb! You and Kallus were so close and worked together so well, you guys were unstoppable! So you two are going to work together again and work out what's been happening between you!" She said, grabbing Rex's wrist and walking away.

"I can't believe this!" Zeb whispered, walking in the opposite direction.

"Really Zeb? What can't you believe?" I asked, following him.
