On the other hand a girl lost in his thoughts reaches the Golden Temple, a place which has been an integral part of her life after her parents. She finds them here. She was reliving all the memories spent with her father, their short quick trips, just two of them sharing their thoughts on life and love.
Nandini had grown up adoring the relationship of her parents. Her father was a high rank Army man and her mother being his support system who herself was an established music sensation of the country. She had a legacy which was unknown to the world because she wanted to establish her name and make her parents proud of her. She surely missed them but then had her twin with her. Looking at those two everyone could say that these two couldn't live without each other, they were each other's heart, but then life player its own game and snatched away her twin too. She did not give upon life, being the Army brat she was, she faught with herself to live for others. Living with her maternal family who never treated her as their own but blamed for all the miseries including loosing their other grandchild. But Nandini never showed it on her face. She had a smile which could make anyone's day. She was there for everyone but she had no one to be there for her.
Twice a month this was her get-away from the choas of her life. The place which made her believe in love, family and life. The place she believed her parents and twin lived in.
She was well aware of the marriage alliance though totally unaware of the guy. She was confused and hence was here to solve her confusion. She moved around the place, met familiar faces who treated her like their daughters owing to the fact she has been coming here regularly since her childhood. She went inside to seek the blessings, bowed down on the other side with an intent to clear her heart. When she got up she saw an old man falling down as his foot twisted, she without caring leaped to help him and his next words left her amazed.
DJ:- Rab kare tujhe aisa jeewan saathi mile jo tujhe tere har andhere me aise hi tham le.
(May God bless you with a life partner who holds you the same way in your darkness)This was it. Before Nandini could say anything else the man left but surely conveyed it to her heart that it was time for her to enter the next phase of her life. Manik though couldn't hear their conversation had seen this episode, though he was shocked to see Nandini there because as per his knowledge she was from a South Indian family brought up in Mumbai. He wasn't expecting her here by any chance. But yet he thought destiny was in his favour and this was all planned by the almighty. He moved away with a content smile. DJ after looking at his face was sure of his answer.
Manik on the other hand was lost in the face he saw, the calm and the serenity was invoking something in his heart. He expressed his wish of meeting Nandini at the Golden Temple with his and her family and DJ was on cloud 9. He called up the families and talked about the same. They Decided to travel to Amritsar over the weekend. Though Amms was a bit reluctant but then agreed.
Here Nandini was informed about the meet over the weekend and her family travelling to Amritsar. She made appropriate arrangements, she owned a house there which was full of memories of her parents. She couldn't be happy any less. This place was special for her for sure. Though she knew her family will not step in the house, she made their reservations in the hotel and updated her paternal grandparents about the same. They were delighted to know about it though were a bit sceptical as they had no info about the groom.
The days passed by and finally the weekend was here. Two hearts were beating loudly unaware of the fact what future held for them. Nandini was delighted to meet her paternal grandparents, they were the ones she was closest to after her parents. Though why still she lived in her maternal family is something which will be answered later. The families were getting ready and Amms was furious to see Nandini's grandparents but chose to deal with it later as she wanted this alliance to work. They got ready and went to the Golden Temple.
On the other hand Malhotra's did the same, Manik chacha chachi and their kids couldn't make it because they still had things to settle and wished to meet their future daughter in law once she is back in Mumbai. The families greeted each other and Manik's eyes were looking for Nandini. Nandini's grandparents loved Manik and both got really well along with Manik's DJ. They had always known each other as business tycoons but knowing each other personally was a delight. Here Malhotra family was in for a shock when they got to know that Nandini was a genuinely a princess as her paternal family was The Royal family of Rajasthan known round the country. They were amazed that despite of being born with a Diamond spoon the girl chose to make her own identity. Nyonika was already gushing. She had known Nandini doing wonders for the children in the education fraternity and sponsoring many NGOs for the same.
Nyonika insisted on calling Nandini now and there the princess came dressed like a typical Punjabi kudi and Manik had his eyes struck. She greeted everyone politely and Nyonika started asking her some basic questions. Even Raj interacted with her to everyone's surprise as he is very restricted when it comes to outsiders. DJ was already smiling as if he had known this fact. Manik was adoring the girl who was now giggling with Mukti to another shock for everyone. Mukti suddenly kissed Nandini's cheek given a sweet shock to her family. Manik was taking all these things as sign that she is the one!
And finally it was time when the elders suggested Manik and Nandini to talk alone and take a decision.
Phew! Done for this one!
Okay! Thanks Bye! #Mananforever
