Her eyes glanced down at the pages laid out in front of her. There was just too much happening at once here. The most concerning was the fact that she potentially would lose immunity within four months, rather than six? Shou literally left at first light, pulling Garrine out of his apartment to portal out. It wasn't completely according to plan. He was supposed to wait. But Shou was never known for being particularly patient at times, especially when it came to the lives of others. Due to this, Jexanna didn't even get a chance to tell him about the potion wearing off sooner than expected.

She released a sigh. That wasn't the only thing that was concerning at the moment. According to the gossip of the security teams, she had found out that Yvette was apparently really gunning for Alpha Stone. Maybe she was trying to take advantage of his ability to leave the dorm building at the moment. Once the patients started to arrive, Alpha Stone would have to be confined to basically a single building.

Yvette apparently made a large scene at breakfast time. Stone basically bit the woman's head off. Jexanna missed it due to an inspection of the UV lights outside all of the buildings and in their lobbies. She even spent extra time to ensure that Alpha's Stone's apartment floor had three times the amount laid out. They couldn't take any chances with his health. She drew circles on her temples.

There was just too much right now. Yvette was always able to take a hint. This was unlike her. People kept acting stranger and stranger. Even Hamma seemed uncharacteristically agreeable today. For some reason, the only dependence she had was Alpha Stone finding her identity. What was the world coming to?

Jexanna's sapphire eyes drew slits at the information in front of her. Was it simply the anticipation of the patients arriving within a few days?

"Dr. Lewis." Hamma's voice drew Jexanna's attention away from her thoughts. "Are we ready to begin the meeting?" Her tone was sharp as ever, but her expression was soft. Was she trying to improve her social skills?

"Of course Madame Hamma, begin by reminding us of the early symptoms of the disease, please." She remarked and Hamma nodded towards Jexanna.

"The earliest indicators of the disease are noted as whelps appearing all over the body, accompanied by pneumonia, and a 20-degree increase in temperature. This all can occur within a matter of hours, drastically declining a patient's condition beforehand. So the main purpose of today's meeting is to understand how we begin to test for it, seeing as all we have are these basic first symptoms."

"Thank you. Now, let's open the floor for discussion." Jexanna remarked. "When is the earliest mention of a wet cough on a patient's timeline?"

"The earliest mention of a wet cough appeared about a day before the other early symptoms. A patient noticed she was feeling sluggish, so she went to see a pack doctor. During the examination, she just began to cough violently with fluid." Dr. Thompson remarked, reading off the patient's case file. Jexanna's eyes narrowed at him, both taking in the information and watching the middle aged man closely. His gentle demeanor was accompanied by an air of professionalism. He seemed harmless. But that was dangerous.

"The doctor prescribed some wolfsbane, ginger, and mint to help alleviate her cough. She woke up the next morning with the whelps and other symptoms." He continued.

"So the wolfsbane subsided the onset of the other symptoms?" Healer Bethan inquired. Jexanna raised her brows at the small faire's question. She typically delegated Hamma to do most of the talking. Good for the small woman for speaking up.

"It appears so." Dr. Thompson nodded, his eyes glancing over at Jexanna. "It's quite rare for a werewolf to feel sluggish, however. Their metabolism doesn't generally allow for that type of symptom unless they're stressed or overworked." He was right after all. Werewolves were blessed with incredible health. Only when something was truly wrong did they ever show symptoms like being tired or a cough.
