"Your parents are so welcoming." He muttered as we were sat on the sofa in my living room.
"They like you," I whispered as I watched my parents quarrel about the correct layout for the dinner table.
"Joe, he's an Alpha. He should be at the head of the table." Mom hissed.
"Let's ask him." Dad groaned, "Alpha Leon... where would you like to sit?" He smirked.
"Anywhere is fine. Next to Ayla?" He raised his brow as he answered. Mom's eyes twinkled, and she nodded.
The front door opened, and Owen walked in awkwardly with Wade behind him. I smiled at them both. "Mom, dad... This is Wade... My mate," Owen proclaimed.
Mom's face lit up as she made her way over to them. "I'm so glad you found your mate." She beamed, pulling him in for a hug. She stepped back and grinned at Wade before pulling him into her. Dad embraced Owen patting his back.
"Welcome to the family, Wade." I chuckled.
"Thank you, Luna." He smiled radiantly before covering his hand over his mouth.
All eyes turned to me. Everyone's eyes were wide. "So... There's a reason I'm home," I stated. "Leon is my mate," I expressed as I linked my fingers through his.
"I didn't even know that was a thing," mom gasped, "but, I'm so happy for you, baby," she wept, "both of my babies have their mates," she cried.
I chuckled as Owen and I went to her and enveloped our arms around her. "Does this you will both be leaving?" Dad inquired, raising his brow.
"Leon's the Alpha... I need to be there," I muttered.
"And Wade's the Beta... So, I kinda need to be there too." Owen replied.
"Would you accept an old warrior and a pack midwife into your pack?" Dad asked.
I spun around to him, "really? You'd come with us?" I gasped.
"Sweetheart, if you both leave... What's keeping us here?" He raised his brow. "But it's up to Alpha Leon," He gestured his head towards Leon.
I whirled around and stared at Leon. My eyes were pleading with him. He grinned before nodding. I threw myself at him and peppered kisses all over his face. He chuckled and placed me back down on the floor.
"We can sort the transfer papers out whilst I am here," he replied. He brushed his thumb against my cheek, and I blushed. He chuckled, leaning forward and placed a sweet kiss on my lips.
"Let's eat, and we can talk more," mom suggested as we headed towards the table.
Mom and dad took the head seat on either side of the table, I sat next to Leon, and Wade and Owen sat opposite us.
"Where's your sister?" I asked Leon.
He snickered and rolled his eyes, "with Mila and Mateo getting the grand tour. I don't even know why she came," he grumbled.
"What does she do?" I asked. I need to know about everyone, especially if I'm to be Luna... Not that I'd probably remember everything; I suck at remembering names, let alone what each member does.
"She's a teacher," he remarked proudly.
I smiled and nodded, "Owen is a trainer for teen pups," I gestured towards Owen. We looked over at him.
Owen and Wade were gazing at each other, holding hands. "Ok... Maybe speak to him about that another time," I chuckled.
Mom took the lid of the bowl of spaghetti. "Ok, dig in, kids." She bubbled.
