Myrrh had awoken to Apollo's warm body entangled with hers, her head resting against his bare chest while his arms were wrapped around her waist, keeping her close. The remains of last night were a blur after Dionysus dragged her away outside, waiting for Artemis to finally calm Apollo down. He had given her a glass of wine against Apollo's wishes, and Apollo had brought her back home in his arms and given her a glass of water to help clear the alcohol from her system. They had shared a passionate exchange of kisses, before having intimate relations with each other and dozing off in each other's arms. She briefly gazed at Apollo's sleep face, trailing her thumb along his neck and up to his jaw, seeing the lipstick stains she had left on his olive skin. He was guilty of having done the same to her, leaving a few purple marks across her neck and collarbone from the events of the night. His body temperature rose slightly, as his eyes fluttered open, and he grasped Myrrh's hand, placing a gentle kiss upon her fingertips. He gave her a small smile, before rolling over on top of her, laying his head on her bare chest, listening to her heartbeat as he wrapped his arms lazily around her neck. She sighed, tangling her fingers in his messy head of curls and he let out a hum in return.

"Oh, to be able to wake up like this for a thousand years would be lovely," he spoke, his voice still riddled with sleep, his words slurring together slightly from the small hangover he had from the ridiculous amount of wine he drank. He pulled himself up, cupping Myrrh's face as they shared a deep kiss. The air was colder than usual, and the rain made a pattering noise outside as it landed on the roof and the balcony. The air was filled with fog, and Myrrh quite enjoyed it when it rained in the mornings. Apollo gently raked his nails across Myrrh's back, earning a shiver from her in return at the sensation, using it as a distraction to pull away and flip her over, earning a surprised squeal from her as he sat up, quickly wrapping her in a blanket. He placed a kiss on the bridge of her nose, before getting up from the bed, and getting dressed. He came back to her, peppering her face with gentle kisses, causing her to let out a playful giggle. He cupped her face, staring deep into her dark eyes, giving her a small smile.

"Thank you for last night." he placed a kiss on her forehead, before wrapping her in a tight embrace, stroking her tangled curls. He could feel her soul changing, ever so slightly, back into who she was before. She had managed to move an entire root of an ancient oak to protect him, and he could smell the sweet floral scent of the apple flowers that had sprouted up and grown from the headboard of his bed until the branches had wrapped around most of its frame. He knew that her emotions could cause this to happen, especially when they were strong, such as feelings of love. He breathed in the sweet scent of her, plucking a flower from one of the branches and placing it within her hair. It tore him that he needed to go and attend to other matters, such as the fact he tried to beat Aphrodite to death, and he cupped Myrrh's face once again, placing a sweet but quick kiss on her lips. He went and picked up his quiver and bow, slinging both over his shoulder, before giving Myrrh a small smile, and leaving.

Myrrh sat in silence for a few moments, until she was drawn from her thoughts by a knock on the doorframe, and Artemis walked in. Myrrh wrapped the blanket tighter around her, her bare feet and legs dangling over the edge of the bed. Artemis was quick to notice this, along with Apollo's bed frame being decorated with flowers and branches, the sweet scent of them nearly intoxicating.

"Seems you did a little be of redecorating of my brother's room?" Artemis said with a smirk, earning a deep blush from Myrrh in return. Myrrh had a question playing in her mind, and although she had wished to ask Apollo it, Artemis would suffice for an answer.

"Artemis, how long was I down on earth for? It only felt like a few years for me, but Apollo seems to act like it was much longer." Artemis frowned and furrowed her brows at the question, her look soon turning into concern.
