Percy, Jason and I exited the cab and began our trek up the hill towards Thalia's tree.
I looked awful, probably smelled awful but I was alive and that's what mattered.
The trek back from Greece was short lived but I was just happy to be out of the terrible depths of Tartarus, I shook with fear knowing this wasn't over.
"Do you think they're back yet?" I asked Percy.
Percy looked at me. "Olivia is one of the strongest demigods I know, Hope and Landon, are two of the strongest non demigods I know." Percy said. "They're definitely back."
"Besides, I've never seen anyone besides Annabeth with as much determination that you were still alive." Jason said to me. "When Annabeth first found me at the Grand Canyon I thought she was going to throw me off the edge because I wasn't Percy."
We neared the top of the hill as the conch horns blew.
"Why are they blowing the horn?" Percy asked.
"It's our power level, it's probably unregistered and off the charts. They don't know it's us." I said to them.
"What's her name?" I asked Percy and Jason as we neared the top. The first time I had mentioned my daughter since they brought her up. I was too scared to face the truth, bringing a child in this world would surely make things more complicated.
"Her name is Helen Pandora." Percy said. "Evelyn gave her, her last name but Helen uses yours."
"She knows me?" I asked.
Jason shook his head. "Evelyn and Hope didn't tell her about you. Just your name and that you were a hero. They didn't want her to carry the heavy burden on your shoulders."
"Anything I should know?" I asked them.
"Evelyn got married to Johnathon." Jason said to me.
I didn't break my stride, I didn't care. My heart belonged to Olivia and I knew that. I loved Evelyn of course I did, she was one of my best friends but the heart chooses who it wants and mine chose Olivia from day one.
"Turns out we make pretty awesome uncles."
Percy said grabbing my shoulder. "Helen is best friends with Silena."I smiled that was good to know.
We finally arrived at the top of the hill overlooking the crowds of demigods below.
Whispers immediately flew through the crowd and I suddenly felt small once again like I had back at Salvatore when I didn't know if I belonged.
Chiron ordered the campers away besides the crew who I considered my friends.
Landon immediately walked forward first running up the hill towards me. "Holy shit bro, you scared me. It's been seven years man." He said hugging me tightly.
Hope followed suit and pulled Landon off of me.
"Evelyn kept telling us to move on." Hope said sniffling as she rubbed her nose. "But we didn't. Turns out we were right."
She slowly wrapped her arms around my neck. "Don't ever do that again. You're my best friend." She said sobbing.
The entire times my eyes were locked on Olivia's who was frozen in fear as she laid eyes on me.
"I missed you too, Hope." I said patting her back.
"Josie, is going to be thrilled." Hope said.
"Yeah, well it seems like someone else isn't."
I saw Olivia run off like she was terrified on what she was seeing. Either terrified or in disbelief.
I'd go after her when I got the chance.
"Achilles." Evelyn said holding hands with Johnathon as she locked eyes with me.
"Evelyn." I said to her. "Johnathon." I said as we gripped forearms and shook hands. "Thank you for taking care of my daughter." I said respectfully.
His eyes widened shocked that I wasn't upset. "Of course, she's amazing. She's going to love you." He said to me.
Crazy how someone could hate you so much until they grow up. Until you both grow up. I still remember us bickering and fighting daily at this camp.
"Apparently she doesn't know about me." I said looking at Evelyn who looked away shyly.
I pulled Evelyn into a quick hug as I slowly felt her sob into my chest.
"Thank the gods you're alive." I heard her whisper. "Thank the gods."
"Where's Helen?" I asked her.
Evelyn rubbed her eyes. "She's in the barracks with the daughters of Aphrodite for protection. We thought there was an intruder." Evelyn wiped her eyes again. "Helen, loves you and talks about you everyday Ash. She'll be here later but you gotta go get your girl."
"You knew?"
Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Of course I knew, always so dodgy about your feelings with me and the way you look at her. It's one of a kind look."
I smiled and nodded.
"Chronos." A voice ripped through my head.
I turned to see a boy with short brown hair and flickering purple eyes standing next to an African American woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
I walked towards them. "Chaos, Gaea." I said bowing to them.
"Stop that, we have a problem." Kendra said to me.
"Right." I said nodding. "The throne."
"Do you know where it is?" Logan asked me.
I looked around at the people still staring at me from the camp.
I nodded. "We'll discuss it later. I have some things I need to get figured out. Tell Percy to get the crew and we'll meet at Zeus's rock tonight at nine o'clock."
Logan nodded at me.
I turned towards the cabins and began to jog my way through the camp in search of Olivia.
It only took me a couple minutes before I realized where she would be.
If I had a gravestone or a memorial that's where she'd be.
I thought about what I was going to say to her when I found her as I ran through the trees to the cemetery of fallen heroes where all heroes where remembered after their heroic deaths.
I pushed through the brush and saw her on her knees leaning against the headstone crying.
