Kiara and Y/n were able to get Pope and JJ to come with them to the occasional outdoor cinema that happens in the Outer Banks. Both sisters held bags over their shoulders, along with the boys, as well as carrying beach chairs for them. Y/n had noticed both JJ and Pope slightly tense, which made her occasionally glance at them in confusion.

John B was nowhere to be seen, as the four had no clue where their friend was. They had no way to contact him, since the power was still down. And his house was empty, no one standing inside the Chateau. However, it was still kind of a mess, even if John B had cleaned it.

"I'm so glad that they're still doing this. Keep calm. Carry on. Back to OBX life. You know? Aren't you guys glad we made you come?" Kie questions.

"Ecstatic." Pope replies, sarcasm laced in his voice.

"My couch was pretty comfy, I'll be honest." JJ tells the sisters.

"We're out of the green zone, man." Pope whispers to him.

"Dude, tranquilo, okay?" JJ reminds just as quiet.

"We're in the middle of Kooklandia. This is the last place I wanted to be." Pope informs.

"Shut up, Pope." JJ interrupts.

Walking away from the two boys, the Carrera sisters stop right in front of the food stand, Kiara grabbing her money as she asks for Pepsi's for both her and her sister. Kie proceeds to pay for the cans, that were passed down to Y/n.

"Hey, Kie, Y/n." A voice suddenly greets.

Both sisters glance at one another before looking over to the sound, seeing Rafe Cameron, Sarah Cameron's brother, walking over to them, his gaze staying on the two girls. Both rolls their eyes at his presence, exchanging a small look.

"Hey, what's up? How are you two?" Rafe asks.

"We're fine." Y/n bluntly replies.

"Good, good. Um..." Rafe says with a nod. "Tell your boy that we know what he did."

"Sorry, what boy are you talking about?" Kie questions, sharing a look of confusion with her sister.

"He'll know." Rafe replies.

The sisters only roll their eyes, walking away from him and back to Pope and JJ, where Y/n hands Pope one of the Pepsi's in her hand, giving the other one to her sister and JJ and leaving one for herself.

"We just saw Rafe, and he said, and I quote, "Tell your boy that we know what he did"." Kie informs. "What is that?"

"Um... Where is he?" JJ asks, gulping slightly.

"Right there." Kie points out, all of them looking over their shoulders.

Pope was the quickest to look, seeing Rafe and Topper staring right at him as they take sips of their drinks in their hands.

"Great, the whole death squad." Pope comments.

"Don't stare, bro." JJ murmurs, hitting the back of his head, causing him to turn back around. "Just warning you, bro. If they corner me, I'm coming out swinging, okay? Slice and dicing. I'm on edge right now. If that doesn't work, I got this right here." JJ holds up his bag, making the sisters share a knowing look.

"Yeah, yeah. So, we just gotta stay in the group. They can't get us in the group." Pope states.

JJ nods. "Like a school of fish."

"Stay in the school. Can't leave the school. Stay in school." Pope agrees.

"I'm sorry, JJ... Please tell me that you did not bring a gun here. JJ, there are kids." Y/n reminds.
