There I was. Standing in front of U.A. High School, about to waste another dreadful year of my life. I know I sound like a pessimist, but I would love to switch places with someone. Someone who actually dreams of being a Pro Hero. I don't even get the hype about being one. You're literally getting paid to fight dangerous people, insert yourself in deadly situations, just to get praise from other people. I'd rather get praise for doing a safe performance on stage. If only my dad understood that music is just as important, and is another way to bring people hope.
I sighed as I was about to set foot through the gate, until I heard a familiar voice.
"Kumo! Kumo!!!!" someone yelled.
I turned around and saw my best friend, Triton, running towards me.
(A/N: This is Triton! Both the character and the art doesn't belong to me. He belongs to my friend @orionftm2020, who let me insert him into the fanfic. Go give him a follow!)
"Oh! Hey, Triton." I said, as I smiled.
Triton and I have been best friends since we were little. He's a year younger than me, and we grew up in the same neighborhood. Unlike me, Triton has dreamt of being a Pro Hero for as long as I've known him. He's the only person who knows that I want to be an idol and not a Pro Hero.
"I can't believe it! My first day here! It's happening! It's really happening!" Triton squealed happily. "I know! I'm so happy for you! I know you've been waiting for this for so long!" I said. "I didn't think I'd even make it in." he admitted. "I knew you would. From what I've seen you do with your Quirk, getting into U.A. was guaranteed for you." I responded. "Thank you so much, Kumo!" Triton exclaimed in pure joy.
"I'd love to talk more, but I need to head to class. The second year classes are more of a hike." I said. "That's cool. I'll talk to you later!" Triton responded as I walked inside of the U.A. building.
I headed over to the classroom where my homeroom class was supposed to be. I had to walk up a flight of stairs in order to get to the Year 2 classrooms. Before I could find my classroom, a girl that I knew walked over to me. She had dark raven blue hair in a mullet and gray eyes. She also has sharp teeth, and the tail of an alligator. Her name is Toshiko Wani, and she's in the same year as me. We were in the same class last year, but we didn't really talk much until the Year 1 U.A. Sports Festival. Her Quirk is that she has the abilities of an alligator.
"Ayo, it's K-Drizzle! What's good, homie?!" Toshiko shouted. K-Drizzle isn't really the best nickname....
"Hi, Wani." I responded. "Ayo, no need to call me that, bruh. Just call me Toshiko. My fans call me T-Terror." she reminded me.
By fans, she means the 10 people who listen to her on SoundCloud. Her stage name is T-Terror, and she's trying to make it as a rapper, as well as a Pro Hero. Her beats, however...... they're not the best. I hope someone else is gonna tell her, because I know I won't.
