Chapter 76: The Ball

Harry Pov:

Hermione and Y/n walked down the stairs, both looking beautiful. Y/n looked a lot like our mother, her hair had a slight tint of red, and her eyes were like our moms. "Y/n, Hermione, you look amazing" I said as they came down. "Thank you" "Thanks" they replied smiling. "Y/n, you look a lot like our mother" I whispered into her ear. "Thank you Harry" she replied hugging me.

Draco Pov:

Y/n looked amazing, I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I was angry at her, and the jealousy in me burned as she danced with the Weasley twins. Looks like Diggory didn't turn up after all.

Y/n Pov:

I joked and laughed with the twins as we danced. Freddie kept stamping on my feet and somehow my feet always ended up stamping George's. I saw  Pansy with Blaise, snogging in the corner. 

"Next time pluck up the courage and ask me first before someone else does, not as a last resort!" I heard Mione yell. I stopped dancing to see her walk away from Ron and Harry tears brimming in her eyes.

"Mione!" I yelled following her. "Looks like Diggory left you for that Chang girl"I heard Draco say. "What?" I asked not understanding what he meant. "Don't you have a to get back to Daphne Malfoy?" I added turning away. "Ah yes, I do, and you have to get back to Diggory but unfortunately he seems occupied" Draco replied.

"I came here with Fred and George, not with Ced" I said. "Because Diggory left you" Draco replied. "I turned him down when he asked me Malfoy, don't come here with false accusations" I said. He looked surprised. "You turned him down?" Draco asked.

"Yes I did Malfoy, oh and look at the time, we've wasted 2 whole minutes, don't you need to get back to your pure-blood date?" I replied. "What do you have against Pure-bloods?" He asked. "Nothing actually, even though your probably with Daphne because of her being a Pure blood" I replied. "But at least I'm not coming up trying to spoil you day because of it" I added.

"I'm not with her because she's a pure-blood, I went with her because you were going with Diggory" Draco replied. "NO I WASN'T DRACO, I WANTED YOU TO ASK ME, AND I WAITED FOR YOU TO, BUT YOU DIDN'T, AND I'M OKAY WITH THAT SO LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled. "I can't, I thought you liked me Y/n" Draco replied. "I do Malfoy, and get it in your head that I said no to Ced, I said no" I responded.

"Fine I misread the situation, but you still did cause me pain" Draco mumbled. "DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT PAIN, MY MOTHER IS DEAD, MY FA- UNCLE IS DEAD, MY DAD ROTTED IN AZKABAN FOR 12 YEARS FOR SOMETHING HE DIDN'T EVEN DO, I HAVE DARK MAGIC IN ME THAT I HAVE TO KEEP IN INSTEAD OF LETTING OUT, THAT HURTS ALMOST AS MUCH A THE CRUCIATIUS CURSE! THIS WAS MY ONLY NON PAINFUL DAY MALFOY AND NOW YOU'VE RUINED IT" I burst out.

"Y/n I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking" he replied. "Leave me alone Malfoy, I don't want to see you again" I said running away.

I spotted Mione on the staircase and wiped away my tears. She did the same as she noticed me. "You alright?" I asked sitting next to her. "I'm great, you?" she asked. "Never better" I replied.

I put my head on her shoulder. "Why are guys so complicated" Mione and I chorused. "Who's yours?" she asked. "Don't tell anyone, especially Harry" I replied. "Draco"

"Wait what? When?" she asked surprised. "Draco and I kissed a few weeks back, and um I was waiting for him to ask me but he thought Ced did, and then didn't ask me, and I thought it was because I wasn't a pure-blood. And I let him be, and enjoy himself but he didn't have the same idea" I replied sighing. "You?" I asked.

"Ron, I like him Y/n, but he was so rude about me and Victor, I don't understand why he can't be happy for me" Mione replied. "he likes you Mione, seeing you with Victor makes him jealous" I said. "And I can't believe I'm saying this but Draco likes you to, he was jealous when he thought that you were going to the ball with Cedric" Mione said.

"Boys are complicated" I replied. "I agree"

"Let's not mope around and waste our time, come with me" I said getting up. She followed me back to the ball room. "Feel the beat Mione, and Dance!" I yelled as the loud music went on.

We danced till after midnight, letting the music take control.
