Chapter 7 Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures

A/N I'm alive! I'm so sorry for not posting in awhile! I've just been overloaded with work and getting my stuff packed since I move into my college dorm around August the 13, so everything's been kinda hectic this month. However I can say the plus side is that I won't be working as much once college starts since I'll be focusing on my studies, this doesn't mean I won't write, I'm still gonna write all I can so dont worry! Now I hope you lovely's enjoy this much waited chapter! I made sure it was up to snuff, hope you enjoy! On to the chapter!

      The sound of his footsteps as he approached the ledge were heard around the room. You all watched as he took a spear lodged in a bodyguard's body and pulled it out, causing the body to slump down. Li looks over the railway, his eyes taking in the current situation before they stop on your's and Sun's tied forms. You saw something snap behind Li's eyes before he jumped up and lunged out. Oh shit. Well Ao Guang, I guess you're gonna have more of a challenge than you expected~

     Your eyes watched as Li's form descended before the sight of the ever annoying ribbon quickly fastened around his body.  However, your eyes widened at seeing Li still able to turn over and start pulling at the strands bit by bit before his arms pinned to his sides. Come on Li! Even those bindings won't hold you forever! It seems your silent urgings were heard as the ribbons holding Li glowed brightly as he drew on his inner primordial fire. Around you the room shook from the amount of power building up.

      Behind your mask your lips came into a proud smile at the sight of Ao Guang's somewhat shocked stare. Beside you, your lover turned his head before looking at a blank corner and stating, "Don't you see? Even the red ribbons can't hold him." Paying no mind to the normal craziness that is your husband, you watched as Li broke through his bindings. His exertion of energy caused a massive blowout as the ribbons flew off of him and retreated back from the force.  In front of you the image of Ao Bing falling back from the power brought a small giggle from you. Hah! Serves you right, you little shit!

    Li's form doubles over from the amount of exertion he spent; his palms smoked as his hands met the floor with small sizzles. You didn't have to take a look at Ao Guang to know he wasn't happy. However the sudden sound close to a drain could be heard from behind you. Shifting your eyes back, your eyes widened at seeing both the water and the water guardian's being pulled back down the hole. Knowing that both you and your lover would follow soon after, your mind began racing for any way to escape your bindings.

     If this is going where I think it will, Li will need some help regardless of his progression.  Your eyes shifted back at the noise of your husband getting drug up the stairs; his foot caught on the railing before he was pulled harshly back. You saw he got one hand free and was desperately holding on to the ledge before he was yanked back down. Knowing you were next, you quickly relaxed your body while keeping an eye on Ao Guang. In order for this to work, I'm gonna need to act fast and keep him from seeing.

      Just as you felt the ribbon start pulling on you, you sighed in relief as the tension eased from your slightly smaller form. Maintaining a steady shift in size that remained undetected was hard for anyone to do, however, your already small stature made it easy for you to slip through the bindings. Not wanting to draw any attention to your adorably tiny body, you let the ribbons drag you over the ledge; due to the lack of your original size, the ribbons fell off as they dropped down the hole. Before your body could fall down, you latched onto the ledge as your husband did, however you were able to stay holding on. Your eyes widened at seeing tufts of your lover's fur before a smile rose to your lips. Your tiny hand reached out and grabbed the wisps floating in the air. Quickly putting them in your pockets, your head peaked over the edge to try and see what was happening.
