The next morning, I woke up wrapped in Clint's arms. He was not aware that I had slept in his bed. After our rendezvous in the shower, I got dressed and went to check on him. I found him passed out in his bed asleep, so I cuddled up next to him and fell asleep myself. At some point in the night he must have rolled over and pulled me in his arms. As I stirred, he also began to wake.

"Hey kitten. I don't remember you coming to bed last night," he mumbled, kissing me.

"You were snoring, so I just cuddled up next to you and passed out myself. After yesterday and all the crap we went through, we deserve it," I replied chuckling. He laughed and pulled me closer to him.

"Yes we did," he sighed, kissing my forehead. We laid in the bed for a few minutes before I heard him stomach grumbling. I sat up laughing.

"You hungry there, Hawkeye?" I asked.

"Starving, Agent Stark," he replied, sitting up. "Do you want to go somewhere to eat?"

"Yeah, let's go to our favorite diner," I said, jumping out of bed.

"Assuming Loki didn't blow it up," Clint mumbled, getting out of bed as well. I nodded and we started to get dressed. I went across the hall to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and pulled my hair into a high ponytail and walked back out into the hallway where Clint was coming out of his room.

"I'm ready, do you want me to meet you in the main room when you are done?" I asked.

"Yeah give me about ten minutes and I'll be ready to go," he replied. I nodded and walked down the hallway to the main room where dad and Pepper were looking at a diagram of the tower.

"Morning!" I called brightly to them. They turned to look at me.

"Morning, you look refreshed," dad said, smirking.

"Yeah, I swear you have some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I seriously need one for my apartment," I replied, walking to the fridge and pouring a glass of my green tea. I saw dad and Pepper exchange a look. "What?"

"Pepper and I had a thought," dad started.

"Oh dear, Pepper what's he got in mind now?" I asked, feeling a little worried.

"I actually think it's a good idea this time," she said, defensively.

"Ok, I'm listening," I said walking over and sitting on the couch. Thankfully all of the glass and debris had been cleaned away after the fight yesterday.

"We were thinking of changing things around slightly in the tower and turning it into a headquarters for the Avengers. And bringing all of the Avengers here to live so that everyone is in one place," dad said in a rush. I sat there for a moment in a state of shock.

"That's a hell of an idea, Tony," Clint said from the hallway. I turned to look at him. He had just entered the room and was looking almost as shocked as I was. He came over and sat down next to me. "I think it's a good idea though."

"You do?" dad and I asked at the same time. I turned to look at him. We already lived together, but that didn't include my dad and a bunch of other people as well.

"Yeah, that way if there is ever another problem that we are needed for, we are already all together and ready to go," Clint responded, looking up at dad.

"You two could keep either room you wanted and all the rooms would have the soundproofing of course," dad said, cringing slightly. Clint and I grinned at each other. "Some major renovations would have to be made and all the rooms would have to be turned into suites but I think we could make it work in about six months or so. I need to get some repairs done after Loki's crap yesterday anyway."

"I think it's a great idea dad," I said. "When are you going to tell everyone?"

"Probably today, before we say goodbye to Thor. He will have a room here as well, for when he isn't in Asgard."

"Sounds good to me. Well we are going to go eat, we will see you guys later," I said standing and pulling Clint to his feet as well. We walked over to the elevator and went down to where his car was parked. An hour later, we were sitting in our favorite diner, eating.

"We had our first real date here," Clint said, taking my hand. I smiled.

"You wanted to take me somewhere fancy and I just insisted that I was good with a burger and fries, so we came here," I chuckled remembering how easy it had been even from the very start.

"I got ketchup all over that brand new shirt that I had bought," Clint said shaking his head at the memory.

"And I handed you a fry and asked if you needed a bib," I replied laughing. He rubbed the back of my hand with his thumb for minute and we ate in silence.

"So, your dad has a surprise for us day after tomorrow. Don't worry everything is fine and it's already been cleared with Fury," Clint informed me. I looked over at him with narrowed eyes.

"Are we going somewhere?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yep, but I have no idea where so don't ask, your dad is taking care of all of the plans," he replied holding his hands up. I only nodded. Just then my phone dinged and I looked at it.

"They are meeting in central park in forty-five minutes to send Loki and Thor off," I informed Clint.

"Well it's a good thing I'm done eating," he replied, grabbing his wallet. We stood and he paid for breakfast while I walked out to the car. It was a beautiful morning and if it wasn't for the rubble and destroyed cars everywhere, you wouldn't even think that a battle had taken place here only twenty-four hours ago. Clint walked out of the diner and we made our way to Central Park.

"You will take care of yourself won't you?" I asked as I hugged Thor tightly. He laughed as he hugged me back.

"Of course I will, little archer," he boomed. "You have nothing to fear from me. I will return soon. I just need to ensure that my brother is taken care of first. He will answer for his crimes, I promise you," he said, clapping a hand on Clint's shoulder. Clint was still very upset about everything that Loki had done to him and even with his sunglasses on, I could see the looks he was throwing at Loki who stood surrounded by the Avengers while Thor said his goodbyes.

"Thanks buddy, that really means a lot," Clint said, shaking Thor's hand. Thor nodded once and walked over to where Loki stood, shackled and essentially muzzled. Erik was also with us because he was helping Thor to go home with a specialized device that held the tesseract. I was sad that I wasn't going to get to do anything with it, but I understood that it needed to be on Asgard, where it could be protected better. Thor looked around at all of us again before holding out the device for Loki to take ahold of and with a twist of the handle and a flash of blue, they were gone.

Dad had already made his announcement about the invite to live at the tower and everyone seemed excited about it, even Bruce which surprised me a little. We had all agreed that when the renovations were done, we would move into the tower because of how much easier it would make things. Dad had also dropped another little surprise. Each Avenger would get their own floor and their would be one floor for everyone to meet and mingle. Obviously Clint and I would have our own floor together, and I super excited about that.

We all started to go our separate ways. Clint and I were headed back to our apartment for a couple days until our trip, Steve was headed back to his place, Nat had another mission and Bruce was going to the tower with dad to help out with things.

"You sure you have no idea where he is sending us?" I asked Clint for the dozenth time so far since he had told me about the trip. He laughed.

"I promise you kitten, I have no idea. I would tell you if I did," he replied, taking my hand.

"I have no idea what to pack," I whined.

"Apparently, Pepper is taking care of that too," Clint said, rubbing my hand with his thumb again. "Just relax. The danger is gone." I leaned back and smiled. Yes it was. For now. But we would have each other when it decided to come knocking again. And we would beat it again. Together.
