Chapter 10

 After a few minutes, we pull away because we needed to breath. We put our foreheads together and our eyes were still closed.

B: Jughead...

J: Hmm...

B: What was that?

Then I looked at her and tug a strand of hair behind her hair.

J: Pretty convenient that we kissed.

Then she laughs. God, she's so beautiful.

B: I know we did but why?

J: Betty... look, I like you since the day you stepped into my office. And I can't get my eyes off you.

B: Jug... I like you, too to be honest. I just been avoiding my feelings I guess.

J: Well, not anymore.

B: Can we just... keep this to ourselves for now?

J: I was going to ask you the same thing.

Then she giggles and kisses me again.

Betty's pov:

OH MY GOD!!! Jughead kissed me! My boss kissed me!! And told me he likes me!!! I'm gonna faint!! After the beautiful moment, I come back to my room and start dancing around the room in happiness. After ten minutes, I calmed down and changed into my pajamas. I do my night routine and go to sleep.

General pov:

The next morning, Betty wakes up and gets dressed up. Then she wakes up the kids and gets them dressed. They all go to the dining table to have breakfast. Everyone was there except Jughead. Veronica was looking through her phone when she suddenly gasps. Everyone looks at her and waits for her to say something.

V: Guys... we totally forgot.

She says whispering.

Max: What?

Max asks also whispering.

V: Tomorrow is Jughead's birthday.

Betty's eyes widen.

A&M&M: OH MY GOD!!

Archie and the kids scream.

V: Shh... calm down. She can hear.

Marcus: Oh my god, how did we forget that?

J: Forget what?

Jughead comes in with his phone in his hand and everyone stops talking. Jughead sits and asks again.

J: What were you guys talking about?

Then Veronica cleared her throat and slightly looked at everyone. Everyone was eye contacting with other. Jughead looks up from his phone and looks at them.

J: What's going on in here?

V: Umm... Nothing. We were just talking about casual things.

And then Jughead gets a phone call and leaves the dining table.

V: We've to plan something.

Veronica says whispering again.

Marcus: Yeah, but what?

B: Can I say something?

V: Of course, B.

B: Why don't we throw a party in here? A small one, since he doesn't like something big. And because he loves food so much, Marcus and Max, Why don't you guys make his favorite dish. And don't worry, I'll help you guys.

V: Wow! I think it's an amazing idea!

Veronica squeals and Betty smiles that they liked her idea.

A: Okay, then me and Ronnie will take care of the arrangements.

FP: I'll send out the invitations and Betty, you and the twins make the dish and can help with the arrangements as well.

B: Okay, but remember, it's a surprise for him.

M&M: Yay! So fun!

And right then, Jughead comes in. they all have breakfast and leave for work. The kids and Betty goes to the grocery store. While returning to home, in the car,

Marcus: Betty, can we ask you something?

B: Anything you want.

Marcus: Do you like dad?

Betty was drinking water but after hearing that, she almost choked.

B: What?

Max: Simple question, do you like dad?

B: Umm... I don't know. I mean, I think I do but I'm not sure about him.

And then Marcus and Max nods and ends the conversation. The rest of the day spent normally. Jughead and Betty haven't really got a chance to talk about their moment.
