Chapter 30

The lovebirds couldnt keep their eyes off of each other even though they were broken up. Both of them were regretting the argument they had which led them into breakup. Betty was the first to break the eye contact and move out of that place. Betty was suffering on the inside and was trying not to show it but Jughead knew how she was feeling. But there was nothing he could do.

Betty plans to leaves the city to forget about Jughead, the twins and his whole family but no one knew about it. She plans to leave right before the wedding starts so when she notices that Sophia was about to enter the alter, she leaves for the airport. But the twins sees her leaving but before they could stop us, everyone ushers them to Jughead.

Sophia approaches Jughead but he doesnt even spare a glance at her. Instead, his eyes still looks for Betty but he couldnt find her.

After the vows,

P: Do, you Sophia Miller, take Jughead Jones to be your lovely wedded husband?

The priest asks.

S: I do.

She immedietly answers.

P: Do, you Jughead Jones take Sophia Miller to be your lovely wedded wife?

Everyone waits for Jugheads answer but he stays silent. He looks straight into Sophias eyes and says,

J: I dont and Im sorry. Actually, Im not sorry and you know why.

He smirks and leaves the alter to look for Betty, making Sophias face fall. Everyone gasps but Veronica, Reggie, they all smile.

J: BETTY!

Marcus: Dad! We saw her leaving but we dont know where she went.

J: Shit!

He pulls out his phone and checks her phones GPS. He rushes towards the car when Cheryl throws the car keys at him.

C: Go get your girl, hobo.

Marcus and Max: Were coming too!

V & T & R: WOoh!!!!

The three of them quickly gets into the car rushes to the airport.

As soon as they park at the airport, they run inside. But they couldnt find Betty anywhere. Jughead looks around to find around when he notices her sitting on a bench on her phone. He smiles and quietly walks towards her. He squats right in front of her as she looks up from her phone at him. Her eyes widen as he admires her.

B: J-Jug, what are you doing here? Arent you supposed to get married?

J: You were gonna leave me forever?

B: I-

He takes her hand in his and kisses her knuckles.

J: Baby Im so sorry. I shouldve made this decision a long time ago. I shouldve left Sophia a long ago. Betty, I cant live without you. Please dont leave me. I love you so much. Im sorry

B: Hey, hey

She cups his face in her palms.

B: I love you and Im never gonna leave you, I promise.

He waits no second and kisses her. They both smile into the kiss and hug each other as soon as they pull away.

Marcus and Max: Yay!

Betty and Jughead laugh and invite them into the hug. The twins run into their arms. Jughead finally got Betty back and finally got be happy but for how long will it last?

This book is finally done but the love story isn't. There will be a sequel of this book but I can't tell you when because I've literally no time because of my study and exam but I will try my best.
