Chapter 19

After everyone goes to their works except Veronica, she and all the girls goes for shopping. Reggie goes to meet up with a 'friend' or hook up, who knows. At the mall, the girls were having so much fun. Because Betty and Cheryl were cousins, it wasn't hard to communicate with each other. First, they go to a food court even though they just had breakfast. Then they go to 'H & M' and buy a lots of clothes. After that, they go to another shop.

V: Betty, I've noticed you have just a few sexy clothes.

B: Yeah, my mom won't let me wear them.

T: But do you wanna wear those type of clothes?

B: I mean, yeah...

C: Then screw your mother. You're an adult. A grown woman. You can wear whatever you want.

V: Come on, you need to be more sexy.

Veronica drags Betty and shows her a lots of clothes. At first, Betty gets scared of Veronica's choices but then she loves them. She goes to the changing room and tries some of them and whenever she gets out to show the others, the girls screams. At last, she comes in a very 'sexy' outfit.

V: Oh my god, Betty! You're a gorgeous!

C: Cousin, you look incredible!

T: You're gonna wear it for the rest of the day.

B: Okay, okay. Thank you, guys. I love all of you.

The girls do a group hug. They go on with their fun day. It was almost evening, so the girls were gonna pick up Jughead on their way home since FP was already home and Archie and Reggie went to meet some of their friends.

Jughead gets in the car. The girls don't take the driver because they wanted to be just them. Veronica was driving, Betty was in the passenger seat and Cheryl and Toni in the back seat. Veronica notices the tension between Betty and Jughead so she comes up with a plan.

V: Jughead, drive the car. I'm tired.

Veronica orders. Before Jughead could protest, Veronica was already getting in the backseat.

J: Yes, Ma'am.

Jughead chuckles and switches seats with Veronica. Betty just looks outside the window. Jughead takes a look at Betty and... Woah!

She looks fuckin' hot.

Jughead immediately gets turn on by only seeing her outfit. But he needs to control himself. They stop at a restaurant for dinner. After giving the orders of the food, everyone gets busy in their conversations. Betty excuses herself to go the washroom in their conversation. Jughead takes the chance to talk to her privately though he doesn't know what to talk about since she just broke up with him last night. He pretends to have a phone call.

J: Guys, excuse me.

C: Put the phone down, hobo. We came back after many days so no phone calls.

J: Cheryl, you know that I always pick up business calls. I'll be quick, Ice Woman.

He smirks and leaves.

C: Fuck you!

Jughead goes straight to the ladies washroom after he checks that no one is watching. There were very few people in the restaurant so it wasn't a big problem. He goes inside the washroom and sees Betty, washing her hands. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. He locks the door and stands behind her. She looks up in the mirror and she gasps. She jump and turns around. Jughead covers her mouth before she could scream.

J: Shh... it's just me.

He removes his hand.

B: Fuck! What are you doing here?

J: I came to talk to you.

She sighs and looks down.

B: Jughead... we've already talked about this.

J: Yeah? You mean by having sex?

He smirks making her chuckle. He looks into her eyes. He wraps his hands around her waist.

J: Look me in the eyes and tell me that you don't wanna be with me.

She looks up in his eyes.

J: Come on, do it.

He puts their foreheads together and closes his eyes, making hers close, too.

B: You know I can't do that.

She whispers.

J: Why?

B: Because...

I love you.

B: Because.

Then everything becomes silence.

B: I can't see you with her...

J: You know I don't have any choice.

B: Then forget me and everything that has happened between us.

And that's how she gets out of his grasp and leaves the washroom.
