"Cassandra!" I heard my sister yell for me from outside my door,"You better get up or else."
"Else what?" I mumbled while trying to go back to sleep.
"Bucket of water," she did her evil laugh.
My eyes shot open and I quickly got out of bed. I rolled off of it and hit the floor. I got off the floor and ran to my closet as I heard my sister laugh.
"What the hell am I suppose to wear to this school?" I yelled as I look into my closet for something nice.
"Anything right now until they give you a uniform to wear," she said as I pulled out a sweater.
I took off my pjs and got dress wearing black jeans and a sweatshirt. I slipped on my converses and brushed my hair out. I opened the door and met Maya standing there.
"Great you're ready," she smiled,"lets get going."
She smiled and began walking down the stairs. I yawned and followed her out the front door to her car. She got in the car and started it. She began driving around the small town in search of the school but it was kind of easy since it was the only school in this small town.
She pulled up to the parking spot and kids were staring at us. All were wearing black jackets with white button up shirt under it. Guys were wearing black pants and girls were wearing black skirts. I sighed and followed Maya out of the car and into the school. More kids were staring at us and I didn't like it.
She walked into the office with a smile on her face and I had the most plain face ever. She walked up to the lady at the desk and began talking to her as I sat down in the waiting room. They were laughing and were acting like they were good friends as the lady was looking through papers.
I looked around the office and was staring at the paintings on the wall, then something fell onto my lap. I look up and saw my sister standing in front of me. I look down onto my lap and saw the same outfit the girls were wearing outside. I picked it up and looked at it carefully.
"Go get dress," she said while holding a few more outfits of the uniform.
I sighed and got up off my seat. The lady showed me to the bathroom that was in the office. She said this was the only time I'll be able to use it because students weren't allowed to use it. I slipped my normal clothes off and put on the uniform. I looked in the mirror and fixed places I didn't like how the uniform looked. I grabbed my clothes and walked out of the bathroom.
"Oh don't you look lovely," my sister smiled at me.
"Shut up," I said handing her my clothes,"What are my classes."
I crossed my arms in front of my chest and stared at Maya. She let out a laugh and handed me a piece of paper and a few books. I looked at the piece of paper and saw it had my classes on it. I sighed and walked out of the office with my sister following me.
"Have fun my dear," she said and kissed my head.
I made a sound and looked around as people looked at us. I sighed again and she walked away with a big smile on her face. I turned around and saw a group of students standing against the wall. Two girls and three guys.
"Aww I wish my mommy did that for me," one of the girls who had brown hair said.
"Hey I wished my mom looked that young and hot," A guy said.
I rolled my eyes and sighed a bit. Can these kids be any stupid? They think my sister is my mother... Even though she does act like it ever since our parents died.
"Don't roll your eyes they might fall out," A blonde head who had roots coming in very badly.
"Well at least it will do me a favor and I won't have to look at your face and how bad your roots are showing," I said making a disgust face about it.
The girl's face turned bright red and she looked at me in anger as two of the boys laughed about what I said. A smile appeared on my face as I stared back at her. She threw up her hands and walked up to me. She then smacked her hand onto my books causing them to fall on the ground.
"Oh oops my hand slipped," she smiled,"I'm so sorry."
She laughed and walked away with her little gang behind her devil tail. I sighed and went down to pick up my books. I was about to pick up my schedule but a hand picked it up before I could. I got up to my feet and looked at the person. It was one of the guys that was hanging out with that girl.
"We have three classes together besides lunch," he smiled as he handed my schedule back,"And I'm sorry about Starr... She can be... A handful."
I let out a laugh and take back my schedule. He laughed a little and a few pieces of his black hair fell onto his eyes. He looked at me and smiled.
"Well see ya later Cassandra," he said and walked away to catch up to his friends.
He was such a nice guy... Why is he hanging out with such a bad group of friends? He was also good looking... He's a pretty boy...
