Unknown POV
I leaned up against the wall that was besides the school office. I was always the first one early to school and the last one to leave. I sighed and waited for someone I know to show up. I heard footsteps walking up to me and I look up to see my two friends, Chad and Harry.
"Hey what's up man," Chad said coming up to me and shaking my hand.
"Nothing waiting for Starr," I said looking away,"Remind me again why I put up with her."
"It's because she's hot," Harry said and someone popped up behind him.
"And because everyone thinks you guys are perfect together," Gabriela, Harry's girlfriend and Starr's best friend, said.
"Oh right," I sighed and looked at them.
How did I even get in this group of friends. Oh wait... That's right my father creates video games and is rich. These kids are rich as well so it makes sense that I'm in their group.
"You say that like you're disappointed on being with her, Rowan," Gabriela said giving me her evil eye.
"Ehh she's fun and all but I don't know," I said and then I saw someone walking to us.
Blonde hair, brown eyes, tall and tin legs. Skinny waist and perfect shape. Starr was making her way to us. Mainly me because I'm her boyfriend.
"Rowan!" she smiled as she came up to me and gave me a kiss,"I missed you over the weekend, did you miss me?"
"Yea sure," I said looking down at her.
"It sounds like you didn't," she frowned,"Did I do something to upset you Friday night?"
She ran her hand through my jet black hair and looked me in the eye. Her little charms use to work on me but now they're just... Useless on me. I sighed and hugged her.
"No Starr you were fine," I said,"I just been having a rough morning don't worry about it."
"Oh alright," she said hugging me back and then letting me go.
At that time the office door opened and two girls walked out of it. One in the school uniform and the other older but not that old to be her mother. The one in uniform held onto books and was holding a piece of paper in her hand. You could tell she was new to this school.
"Have fun my dear," said the older girl and gave a kiss on the younger girl's head.
The younger girl made a sound and looked around the place before she sighed. The older girl smiled and walked away leaving the younger girl alone in front of us. She turned around and looked straight at us. That was a big mistake to make.
"Aww I wish my mommy did that for me," Gabriela said with a small smile.
"Hey I wished my mom looked that young and hot," Chad commented.
The girl rolled her eyes and did a little sigh. This girl sure does sigh a lot but I could tell she thought they were stupid to think of the older girl to be her mom. Hell even I'm not that stupid to think that.
"Don't roll your eyes they might fall out," Starr said looking at the girl with a smirk.
I looked at Starr and then the girl. I hope she doesn't say anything. Her best bet is to just walk away and ignore Starr for the rest of her life. I wish I could do that but I can't...
"Well at least it will do me a favor and I won't have to look at your face and how bad your roots are showing," The girl spoke up and made a disgusted face to Starr.
I tried holding in my laugh as Chad and Harry laughed about it. I look at Starr and saw her face turn bright red. I look back at the girl who was smiling and staring back at Starr. I laughed a bit thinking how brave this girl is to stand up to Starr who threw her hands up and walked up to the girl. Starr smacked all the books she was holding to the ground.
"Oh oops my hand slipped," Starr said with a smile,"I'm so sorry."
Starr laughed and walked away with everyone following her but me. I stayed where I was and looked at the girl as she sighed. She went down and began to pick up her books. I looked down and saw that paper near me. I bent down and picked it up before she can. I looked at it as she got back up to her feet. It was her class schedule. I looked at what classes we had together before I had to give it back. Cassandra Jane was this girl's name.
"We have three classes together besides lunch," I smiled as I handed her schedule back,"And I'm sorry about Starr... She can be... A handful."
She let out a laugh and takes her schedule back. I laughed a bit as well as my hair fell onto my eyes. I looked at her and smiled.
"Well see ya later Cassandra," I said walking away to catch up with everyone.
Once I caught up with everyone Starr looked at me weird. I stopped and looked at her. She was giving me her evil look and I already knew where this was heading.
"Why did you help her?" Starr asked while crossing her arms in front of her chest, pushing it out more,"She deserved to not get help."
"Look Starr you kind of went over board with that scene," I told her,"She was just defending herself which I would do the same."
"Whatever," she said turning around,"Go be with your new girlfriend."
"Alright I'll do just that," I said going back to Cassandra.
Before I turned I saw Starr tried to stop me but I didn't pay any mind to it. I shook my head and walked to look for Cassandra. She was pulling her books in a locker and then closed it. She turned around and put a piece of her hair behind her ear. I walked up to her with a smile.
"Hey," I said and she looked up at me.
"Hi," she said looking at me and then her schedule.
"I can walk you to first period since its next door to my class," I told her,"I don't mind at all."
"But don't you have to be with your friends... And that Starr girl," She said.
"Kind of got into a fight with her," I said and shook my head,"Don't worry, it's normal between us."
"Nice friendship," she said looking at me weird.
"She's my girlfriend," I said and she looked at me with big eyes,"Yea but I don't know anymore."
"Well you can always walk and think about it," she said and began walking.
I laughed a little and followed her. She seemed different then any other girl I met but it makes her who she is. She is a brave girl who stands up for herself... Miss. Bravery
