Creating My Character

I walked into the house carrying everything I just got. I closed the door by hitting it with my hip. I made my way up the stairs and into my room. I placed everything by my computer and began opening it. I got it opened and stretched my arms a bit because they were tired. I took out the system and plugged it onto my computer. I looked at the paper to see how it's suppose to work.

'You can lay or sit while you're playing in the game,' I said reading it out loud.

"Hey Cassie I'm off to work," Maya said walking into my room and then looked at the game I just got,"Oh you have a new game. What's it called?"

"It's the new game everyone's been talking about," I said handing the game to her,"Fantasy world."

"Ohhhh," Maya looked at it and then handed it back,"What's going to be your name in it?"

"I haven't thought of that yet," I said thinking a bit,"Maybe Cassie since I'm use to being called that."

"Good name," she smiled and then patted my head,"I'll see you later tonight."

She walks out of the room leaving me all alone again. I turned on my computer to make the system turn on as well. I took the game out of its case and placed it in. I picked up the headset and walked over to my bed. Might as well be comfortable while playing. I laid down and put the headset on. It covered my eyes and my ears. It was like a helmet you would wear when you ride a motorcycle.

I stared into the screen in the helmet until words showed up. I picked the language I speak in and where I was located. It was the basic steps you do when you get a new game but the something different came up.

'Close your eyes and count down from five out loud,'

I looked at the screen weird and just sighed. I closed my eyes and began to count out loud.

"5... 4... 3... 2... 1!" I yelled and then slowly opened my eyes.

I wasn't staring at the screen anymore. Nope, I was standing in a room but it wasn't my room. It looked to be a lab but empty. I looked around and then made myself move. To my surprise it felt like I was walking just like in real life.

"Welcome player!" A female vice yelled,"You are at 'create your character' stage!"

"This is how it looks," I said looking around,"I mean this is how the game is set up."

"Yes it is," The voice said,"Now shall we pick what type of class you want to be or do you want to work on your look first?"

"I believe seeing the types of class before creating your character," I said.

"Alright," The voice said as a screen came up with all different classes for the game,"Each class holds a special quest everyone is given but it's the most hardest to win."

I look at all of the different classes that were there. It would take me awhile to figure out which one would be perfect for me but I want to see the rest of the things in this game. I began to see the classes that interest me. Wizard, witch, elf demon, normal elf, normal demon, or a human warrior.

"I think I'll be an elf demon," I said,"Being two things is better than one seems more fun."

"Alright your class is elf demon," The voice said,"We can now work on how you want to look," the screen changed from classes names to female characters,"Please choose from these starters and you can always customize them after."

I scrolled through the four characters they gave me to pick from. One had long hair, the other had short hair, next one had medium hair and the last one was wearing a hat that I couldn't see her hair. I went back to the character with long hair, the same length as my hair. She was like the opposite of me with black hair while I had light brown hair. She had blue eyes that turn red and I have hazel eyes. I clicked on her and the screen disappeared as I began to glow. I looked down and saw my clothes change to what she had on. A mirror appeared and I saw myself change into the character I picked.

"Would you like to change your clothes as well?" the voice said,"Or do you like the outfit your character came with?"

I looked down to see I was wearing a long black rode which hid my body. I moved it and saw a black bra looking shirt and shorts with long black boots. I kind of liked it and I smiled to myself.

"I'm going to stay with this outfit," I smiled.

"Very well," The mirror turned back into the screen again,"Please choose a weapon or you can always not have one."

I looked at the weapons and only saw two I liked. A sword and a hand gun. I kept switching back and forth between them.

"If you like you can have both of them," The voice said,"Since you're two types of classes I think it would be fair to give you both."

"Really?" I asked and looked at the screen and saw them go together in the same box,"Then I want both."

I clicked on them and felt the sword go onto my side on a holder. The gun went onto my other leg in the middle of my thigh on a holder as well. I put my hands on them and they felt real as I smiled to myself.

"Now what will be your name through out the game?" the girl voice asked.

"Cas-" I stopped myself and thought a bit.

Would Cassie be a really good name for me in this game? If I do then it would be easy to know it's me. I signed and thought a bit about a name no one will know it's me. A name I don't go by or no one is called.

"I would like to be called Rias," I said.

"Alright Rias you have two quest," the voice said,"One is the world quest is to figure out who I am and the second one is your class quest," she pauses for a bit,"The prince has gone missing and no one knows how he looks but he knows he is prince. Your job is to find him and make him become prince again."

"Hmmm,"I said thinking a bit,"Doesn't seem that bad to give it a try."

"You'll be taken to a forest where monsters are around. Try to fight them and become stronger," The voice said,"The forest is close by where your village is and where you can sleep and eat,"The voice laughs a bit,"Good luck Rias."

The room became black and I looked around. Everything began to change into a forest. Trees and flowers showed up. There was a blue sky! I smiled and looked around the place. It felt so real and looked like I was really in a forest but I know I'm still in my room laying in my bed. I put the hood to my robe on and began making my way through the forest to find the village.
