*Porco swipes at bertholdt, bertholdt moves and cuts porco as he strikes, bertholdt cuts porco's legs and he stumbles*
Bertholdt: ..got him....
*Porco jumps again surprising bertholdt, catching him in between porco's claws and a tree, one of porco's claw blades slashes bertholdts face as he is pinned against the tree stuck*
Bertholdt: ...shit
Porco: *grunts*
Bertholdt: ...yea...you got me...but I got you too
*Bertholdt starts to heat up, raising his body temperature to increasingly high levels, enough to make porco flinch back and as soon as he does bertholdt moves, porco strikes with his other claw but bertholdt anticipates his movement and drives his blade into porco's palm but porco still hits him sending him flying, as bertholdt quickly recovers mid air he latches to a tree*
Bertholdt: the jaw is indeed the fastest titan
* porco runs in the direction of the cave, bertholdt flies through the trees overhead waiting to time his attack, bertholdt comes down hard going to strike when porco suddenly jumps slashing, bertholdt is caught and he barely gets away but not without injury, his leg and shoulder are cut crashing him to the ground*
Porco: *grunts*
Bertholdt: ....words porco, use your words..
Porco: *grunt*
Bertholdt: ...ok
*Bertholdt crawls to a tree putting his back to it sliding down as porco walks to him*
Bertholdt: ok porco, I know, I know, listen, I understand what you're doing, I understand why you're doing it, I'm sure you understand me too
*Porco stops, looking at bertholdt sitting against the tree, he partially comes out his nape*
Porco: yea, I understand, you know only one of us goes back home if you keep fighting right?
Bertholdt: ....porco... please, don't kill her
Porco: you know zeke, just come back and she won't have to die, neither of you will
Bertholdt: .... can't
Porco: ...? hey, why haven't you transformed yet? You've been fighting me trying to kill me yet you haven't transformed, even when I severely hurt you I don't think you considered it
*Porco looks around cautiously, thinking, noticing annie disappeared while he was chasing them*
Bertholdt: porco look at me
Porco: ...shit
* Suddenly a kick from behind the tree just above bertholdts head breaking the tree, porco quickly loosens himself and with all his force jumps out of the nape right before annie slices the titans head off with her foot, bertholdt quickly throws one of his blades as hard as he can slicing precisely cutting off porco's arm*
Porco: ....PIECK!
*pieck appears in titan form grabbing porco rescuing him, as they move away from Annie and bertholdt, bertholdt See's rocks coming at him and Annie at full speed, annie quickly gets in front of bertholdt in a blocking position*
Bertholdt: NO! ANNIE!
*As rocks are flying everywhere tearing into the female titan Bertholdt forces himself to get up and gets on Annie's nape slicing her out going behind the broken tree*
Bertholdt: ...annie? Annie
Annie: ....shit
Bertholdt: good, let's get you to the cave I'll take care of the rest
Annie: I can still help, just as soon as I heal
Bertholdt: annie.....why did you kiss me?
Annie: what?!.....
Bertholdt: ....
Annie: I....did?....why are you even thinking about something like that now? Pay attention
Bertholdt: ....yea...sorry, it's fine annie.... anyway let's hurry and go, can you run?
Annie: no
Bertholdt: I'll carry you

*Bertholdt stares at her for a moment holding his laughter giving a smirk*
Bertholdt: annie now's not the time
* Bertholdt picks her up heading towards the cave, when they reach the caves entrance bertholdt is careful to approach as he looks at annie*
Bertholdt: still ok ann?
Annie: put me down bertholdt I can walk on my own
Bertholdt: yea, now annie go deep in the cave I don't want you getting caught in the transformation
Annie: sure
*As Annie goes in the cave bertholdt goes on top of the entrance waiting to transform, porco,Zeke,pieck and the troops approaches seeing bertholdt waiting*
Porco: LAST CHANCE BERTHOLDT!
Bertholdt: NO! IM NOT CHANGING MY MIND BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT
Porco: OK, I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW ITS NOT PERSONAL!
Bertholdt: YEA, I FEEL THE SAME BUT I WONT APOLOGIZE PORCO AND I DON'T EXPECT YOU TO
Porco: GOOD, ALL THIS FOR ANNIE HUH, HER KNIGHT IN SHINNING ARMOR

Bertholdt: I'm her monster
