As you walked over to Rampo who was now standing next to the lifeless body, grabbing black glasses from his pocket. You walked up to him, now standing right next to him.
"Watch this Y/N. I'll solve this case in 7 seconds" He says with a smirk as he put the glasses on and pushed them up to his nose. How in the world?! You thought shrugging it off. And not a moment later The raven-haired male started to think for a second. He then hums and turns to the officers, taking his glasses off. "Well, it is easy. I don't know how you guys didn't know what happened. She obviously was poisoned, Arsenic to be exact." He said before turning to you. "Now tell me how you think she was killed," He said looking into your E/C eyes, with a smirk.
You took a good look at the body and saw that the women's skin was red and very swollen, she also had wart-looking bumps around her mouth and hands. You couldn't figure out how she was poisoned but it was very clear that it was arsenic. Possibly from ingesting or touching it. "Umm... I don't really know, it defiantly looks like she was exposed to arsenic. But other than that I have no clue" You said as you saw a small smile start to grow on Rampo's face.
"Well you not that far off, but there is way more to it." He says turning back to the officer. "So... what happened?" The officer said looking a bit uncomfortable.
"Well, she was exposed to it, she was a victim from an abusive husband, you can see that she's married from the ring on her finger and you can see burses all over here that look like they she was trying to cover them with makeup. She started to poison her husband by putting it in his food, but it looks like she accidentally ate it instead. She was planning on killing him with a big dose that could kill him in 3 hours. Killing her quite fast." Rampo said looking up with a smug face.
Well, that was impressive You thought as your mouth gapped in aw. "It's quite easy, but I guess only the best detective in the world could solve it," he said looking at you. He saw your surprised face and smirked. "That... That was so cool how did you do that?" You asked very curiously, surprising the green-eyed detective. "W-well it's... because of my ability! Super Deduction." He said blushing a bit at your praise. "That's really cool, you must be lucky to have such a great ability." You said looking at his wide green eyes. "Well we're done here officer, have a good day" Rampo said walking away quickly as you followed shortly behind. "Wait! Who's her husband?!" He yelled as we speed-walked away not listening to him.
We kept walking for a bit but then you stopped, making Rampo stop and turn to look at you. "Everything good?" He asked. "Yea it's just late and we're far from the Agency," You said looking at the phone in your hand. "Oh, well we better get back then," He said walking up to you and stared at you waiting. You didn't know why he was just staring at you, but then you remembered he needed help getting back. "This way," You said laughing a bit and walking.
After a few minutes of walking, you guys found yourself in the middle of a small festival. "We can just go around," He said nervously. You didn't hear what he said as you were paying attention to the music that was playing and the people dancing. You grabbed Rampo's arm and ran into the crowd of dancing people. You then took a moment to let Rampo take a breather. You then started to dance to the music that was playing loudly.
At first, Rampo just looked at you like you were crazy, but then he kept watching you. You were dancing in perfect rhythm with the music. He started to notice you were singing the song also. You then saw him staring at you, so you grabbed his arm and pulled him to an empty space, and tried to get him to dance a bit. You were dancing with his hand in yours, and the beat drop was coming soon and Rampo knew this. Just as the beat dropped he started to dance with you. Your jaw dropped seeing him enjoy the music and not paying attention to anyone else.
After that, the song ended and you two were still holding each other's hands as you two walked through the crowd. You two kept laughing and having a good time. You two quickly arrived at the agency. You let out a sigh with a small laugh at the end. "That was fun," You said as you two walked in. Everyone was still there despite it being late.
As you two walked into the office where everyone was all eyes were on you two, well your hands. You then realized and pulled your hand from his and walked over to your brother who was next to Dazai. "Hey, did you have fun!" Your brother asked after everyone went back to their work. "Yea, he's really smart," You said leaning back on the couch. "Yea he is. But let me guess, the little kitten tried something sketchy" Dazai said spat the second sentence in your ear, making you mad but also get goosebumps from his breath on your skin. You shivered a bit before punching Dazai in the arm.
"Ow!" Dazai gripped his arm that was in pain from your punch. Atsushi then got up and looked at you. "You will have to stay with me and Kyoka for a bit unless you don't feel comfortable with that," He said scratching the back of his neck with a small smile. "Oh is there no more rooms?" You asked cluelessly. "No, but if you want you can stay with me," The woman from the elevator said smirking at you. "O-o..ok" You stuttered out. As you got up and followed her. "I'll bring your stuff to her room Y/N," Atsushi said, you thanked him and followed the beautiful woman in front of you.
You two walked up to an apartment door and she unlocked it walking in as you followed behind her. She took her white button-up shirt off. leaving her in a black tank top. "You can go take a shower if you want. It's around the corner over there." She said smiling a bit at your nervous face. "Th-Thank you, umm." You said realizing you didn't even know her name. "Akiko Yosano," She said turning and walking to a room.
You walked into the bathroom and started to get undressed and turned on the water. After it got warm you turned the shower on and stepped in, enjoying the warm water run down your body. After you got cleaned you turned the water off and stepped out grabbing a towel and wrapping it around you and walking out, hoping your brother had brought your stuff by now. You saw Yosano gripping your stuff from your brother.
She then closed the door and turned around seeing you practically naked, only a towel covering your body. She walked over to a room that was close. "Here this is where you'll be staying." She said putting your stuff in the room. "Thank you," You said as you rushed to the room she gave you.
