The next day you woke up got ready and walked to the agency with Dr.Yosano. You two talked a bit and found out you two had a bit in common. You two soon arrived at the agency and she wished you well on your first day sharing an office with a waist of bandages. You thanked her and walked to Dazai's office soon to be yours as well. You took in a deep breath before walking in just to see your partner and Dazai strangling each other. You just looked at them before trying to slide out like you saw nothing. But Chuuya had a different idea, grabbing you and knocking out you and Dazai.

You woke up with a headache and were chained onto a stone wall. You let your eyes adjust to the darkness of the room, but you still couldn't see anything so you activate your ability. The beast beneath the moonlight. You used the tiger's eyes to see in the darkness. You then realized where you were, and that you weren't alone. Dazai was next to you and just as you saw him he started to sing a song. "CaN't dO a DoUBle SuiCidE AlOnE!" He sang. You winced at how terrible his voice sounded and how loud he was. 

"I can't believe they did this again" He stopped singing to say. "Again?... Oh, yea they did do this to you once didn't they?" You said thinking back to when he set himself up to be caught. "Well, maybe we should wait this out and see what they want." You said looking over at Dazai. "I mean like why would they lock up one of their own?" You questioned. 

You two were silent before you heard footsteps. You looked up and saw a man in the light. As the figure got closer you realized it was Chuuya. And in unison both you and Dazai went. "Ugh, you?" You were upset at Chuuya for what he had done and were not going to forgive him unless he had a good reason as to why he did what he did.

"What?!" Chuuya said putting his hands in his pockets and slumping over with a surprised face. "Well maybe if you didn't knock her out and chain her up she wouldn't be mad at you, Chuuya!" Dazai said spitting venom in his last word. You didn't want to agree but he was right so you nodded your head after Dazai had said what he said. "Hey, it wasn't my idea jerks! If I don't rough you two up a bit I'm going to get fired." Chuuya said looking down.

 "Ha, Real funny," You said looking Chuuya in his eyes as both yours and Dazai's chains fell off. You grabbed your wrist as Dazai did the same. "You guys should really upgrade your security," Dazai said rubbing his wrist. "Yea, oh and when were done tell Mori I quit" You spit at the red-head standing in front of you. 

"Wait... you... quit?" Chuuya asked, tears in his eyes forming. "Yes!" You said pushing him back. "I wanted you to fight for me, or at least come back to me! But you didn't! I wanted you back because I still love you, Chuuya Nakahara! And I can't keep working with you!..." You said almost crying. "Dazai... Let's get out of here..." You said walking to the brunet next to you. 

Dazai put his arm around you and walked out, leaving Chuuya frozen in place. As you and Dazai left you started to cry, and you cried hard. Chuuya was the one person you thought truly cared for you. He was the first person you loved. Being an orphan and losing your brother, he was the only one you thought you could rely on. 

Time skip~

You and Dazai were in your now shared office in silence. You were laying down on the small couch in the office as Dazai did some work for once. After a bit, you got up and went to go see what he was working on.  "It's just a missing person case," He said clearly reading your curiosity. "Hmm," You said sitting on the edge of his desk. 

"Can I play music?" You asked. "Hmm? Oh, yeah sure." He said getting back to typing on his laptop. You then walked over to your desk and grabbed a speaker then hooking your phone up to it. You then started to play music and went back to laying down on the couch. "Hey, wanna got to get ice cream and a drink when I finish?" Dazai asked backing up from his desk a bit. "Ok!" You said excitedly. 

After about half an hour Dazai backed up and cracked his knuckles. "Well, kitty, ready to go?" He asked getting up from the chair. "O-oh... Sure" You said thrown off a bit by the new nickname. You got up and walked with Dazai out of the office. He grabbed your hand once you were by his side. "Umm, Dazai?" You said looking at his hand that held yours. "Yes?" He said looking at you like he wasn't even holding your hand. "Umm... Never mind" You said blushing a bit by the physical contact. 

You two stayed holding hands till you both got to an ice cream truck. You ran up to it leaving Dazai a bit behind. You looked at the menu and turned seeing Dazai chuckle a bit as he walked up to you. "Get whatever you want kitten," He said ruffling your hair. "Can I have an F/F Ice cream cone please?" You asked the man in the truck. "Just a chocolate cone for me," Dazai said grabbing a wallet from his pocket. 

When he opened the wallet he looked confused and was searching his pockets, but then he looked up and saw you giving the man a credit card that Dazai knew was his. He huffed when he saw the man in the truck handed you the card back. You turned and looked at Dazai, handing him the card. "Here, thank you for the ice cream." You said with a smile as Dazai playfully ripped the card from your hand.

After you two for your ice cream, you two walked over to a bench and started eating the sweet treat. You both laughed for a bit and had fun, as well as got closer than before. After a bit, Dazai asked. "So... You loved Chuuya?" He asked looking at the kids who were playing around the area.  "Well we actually use to date but we had to break up so we could focus more on work. I didn't want to but it was the only way he could make it farther up in the port..." You explained looking at the almost finished cone in your hand. 

Flashback~

"Chuuya... I think it's better if we... If we separate. I just can't do this anymore and you deserve better" You said standing in front of the copper-haired male who was looking at you with worry and sadness. "Wait... Why, what happened, what did I do?!" Chuuya asks getting closer to you and louder. "It wasn't you... I just don't want to drag you down. Just wait for me please" You say with a sad smile before walking away. 

"Y/N! Wait! What do you mean?!" He said as you walked away without a word. With your back turned to him you started to silently cry, the tears falling faster than you wanted.
