That day you had been assigned to go to the mafia with Dazai. You two had to bring some papers to Mori from the president. Time to annoy him some more, you thought. grinning as you put some papers into a bag. "What are you grinning at?" Dazai asked looking at you with an annoyed face. "Oh nothing," You said closing the bag and walking up to him. 

You two started to walk out of the agency side by side. It was silent for a long time and occasionally your hands would brush against each other making you two jerk your hands back and blush a bit. "Sorry" You had said, it now being the 5th time your hands have touched his. "It's fine" He huffed. 

"Do you hate me?" You asked looking up at him. Dazai was silent for the longest time. He then spoke up saying, "I don't hate you, your just annoying," He said looking down. "Oh..." You said looking forward to seeing the Port's headquarters ahead. "So how's everything with the rats?" You had asked to break some tension. "Not so good, we lost them already," He said rubbing his head. "Oh that's not good," You said chewing on your lip. 

You had to admit, he was very handsome, but you couldn't let him get to you. You bit down on your lip harder to where you started to bleed a little. Tasting the cold blood on your tongue made you come back to reality. 

Dazai's POV-

As both of us walked from the agency are hands kept touching each other. It felt weird but I didn't want it to stop. I enjoyed seeing her flushed face and nervous apologies every time. I wanted to just look at her forever but I couldn't let her know because that would make me weak. 

Author's POV-

You two quickly ended up at the front door of the tall building. You brought out some keys you had and unlocked the door as well as entering a passcode. You two then walked in and headed to Mori's office. You didn't like going there but you knew you had to. It was for all your friends. For Gin, Chuuya, your brother, and Akutagawa. You cared very much for them all and wanted them to be safe from the rats. It scared you just to even think about what the man named Fydor could do. All you knew about him was what Dazai had told you, His ability was named Crime and Punishment. He freaked you out a lot, you wished you would never come to contact with the Russian man.

After a bit of walking, you heard footsteps. You recognized them to be your partner's footsteps, Chuuya's footsteps. You got excited to see him again so you ran to the sound and saw him. The redhead mafia executive was right in front of you now. Forgetting about Dazai you hugged Chuuya and started to cry a bit on his shoulder, catching the man off guard. The blue-eyed man hugged you back thankful that his crush was back. 

Chuuya then looked up and saw him. He saw Dazai, Dazai was fuming with anger. Chuuya took note of this and kissed your head holding you tighter. You didn't look up because you knew that if you did he would see your beet-red face. You then got pulled on and landed in someone's arms. Come to find out it was Dazai, he had pulled you into his arms and carried you bridle style away from Chuuya without another word. You were so caught off guard that you were speechless. Dazai had never done anything like this before, and if you were being honest it kind of scared you. 

After a bit, you snapped out of it and looked at Dazai. "Umm, why did you do that?" You asked still in his arms. "Because if I didn't we would have been late," He huffed. "You didn't have to pick me up though" You mumbled. What you had said made Dazai blush a little, knowing you were right. 

Soon enough You two had arrived at the door of Mori's office. Dazai still had yet to put you down. When he went for the handle you slipped out of his arms and brushed yourself down, huffing in the process. You then saw an opportunity to run, you had set the bag down you had and ran to where Chuuya was before you left. 

When you got there you saw Chuuya wide-eyed and slowly walking away. You laughed a bit, catching the male's attention. Chuuya turned around and ran into your arms. You laughed at this then saw his hair was undone. "Dude what's with your hair? It's always up," You said breaking the hug. "Here let me help," You said turning him around and grabbing a ribbon from his pocket. You used the ribbon and put his hair in his normal loose low ponytail. "T-thanks Y/N," Chuuya said turning to you with a red tint on his cheeks. "Y/N!!!!" You heard a voice yell and you knew it was Dazai imedieatly. You laughed said bye to Chuuya and ran away laughing. 

Time Skip~

After Dazai had caught you, you two went back to Mori's office and finished what was needed. After that, you both went back to the agency. On the way back Dazai gave you an earful. You laughed and said. "When did you turn into Kunikida?" You asked as you were in the vision of the other members of the agency. "I'm not! You just need to take the Mafia seriously!" He said crossing his arms. "Sure~," You said closing your eyes and smirking. 

After you two had walked into the main office of the agency Dr.Yosano walked up to you with a paper. "You and Dazai will be sharing the same office from here on out." She said handing you a paper that had some information on it, and at the bottom in Yosanos handwriting said. "Sorry, Boss's orders" You huffed as did Dazai, not wanting to share an office. "Well I better get some stuff ready, Can ya help please?" You asked Dazai knowing he was defiantly stronger than you and could carry stuff for you. "Fine, only because you said please," He said walking past you. 

You walked over to Ranpo, as you two had gotten closer quickly. "Want a pocky?" He asked handing you the sweet snack. "Thank you," You said sitting on his desk and putting the snack in your mouth. "Rough day?" He asked already knowing the answer. "Yea but you already know that. Heck with ultra deduction you probably know everything" You said leaning back with the pocky hanging out of your mouth. "Pretty much," He said grabbing a different snack from a drawer.
